Every bit as good as SF Bay Area Korean Food...and I married into a Korean family who's been to them all!The Seafood Pancake is perfect-balanced seafood nestled in a perfectly crisped mung bean batter is served like a pizza perfect for table sharing.Clay pot BiBimBap is scalding hot, allowing you to toast your rice to your liking. If you don't know what I'm talking about, order it and love rice. All protein choices are delicious and lean. The various bulgogi chooses are all solid and spot-on. At least one in your party should order for the full range of BANCHAN (sides). Banchan is what distinguishes Korean restaurants. The quality of brined, pickled and fermented sides is more authentically complete here than any other on Columbus. Try them all and discuss preferences with your party-then wash them down with Soju!Last time I ate there I was so full I had to walk the airport concourse x4 to sit comfortably.Min Ga is that good. Plus, the eye roll when I ask for thirds of some banchan reminds me of family!

Today is the first time I came to this restaurant with my mother. I am quite disappointed with this restaurant and the staff. I don't know anyone like me when it comes to seeing employees with unhappy attitudes. I went in and ordered Gopchang bokum (number 37), I asked the staff if I could order it less spicy? I don't know if the staff understood English, but I heard the staff say something but I didn't understand so I asked again and they said the same thing. I think the staff spoke in their own language so I didn't understand and I felt the staff was not happy with me and I felt the staff was even annoyed with me. I don't know if it's because we're all Asian that the staff here don't like Asians. Also the food I ordered today was not good, I ordered hot stone bibimbap (number 40), Gopchang bokum (number 37), Galbi Tang Soup (number 57) and beef Bulgogi (number 23). For me, I found the Hot Stone bibimbap and Galbi Tang Soup to be quite bland and lacking in flavor. As for Gopchang bokum, I feel like it's not washed properly. When I eat it, I feel a little bitter from the beef tripe because my mother said that if it's washed properly, it won't have the bitter taste of the beef tripe. The rest of the food is okay. This is the first and last time I come to this restaurant. I will never come to this restaurant again. The food is not to my taste and the staff has a bad attitude!

I've been going to Min-Ga for years and they truly never disappoint! The food is always delicious and authentic, so much so that I think they stand out even against the Korean restaurants I've tried in K-Town in Los Angeles. The ambiance is a typical family vibe which always makes me feel relaxed. No fancy frills, they know they don't need it when their food is this good! Service wise I want to take a minute to talk about impressed I am with them. I usually order takeaway over the phone with them and they have truly never ever missed or messed up an order. I order many different dishes and they always without fail get the order right, package the soups and dry food securely, and even put in extra banchan / side dishes for me to enjoy! Love this place and hope to be able to come eat here for many more years to come!

A friend once told me that you get better ban chan (side dishes) if you speak Korean. Not sure if they can tell that my Korean is bad or not but I got the same ban chan that everyone else got which is still really good haha. Minga is a Korean classic that never disappoints tho. Their seafood pancake is the perfect amount of crispness and fluffiness, with a generous serving to boot. Their kimbap is decent but elevated when dipped in broth and their squid bokum is a must have!

I've been visiting this restaurant since 2008 and my last review is very dated so I wanted to drop back in and say, I still LOVE Min Ga. They have the best Korean menu in the city. When I used to visit Korea, I loved duk mandu guk. I was so happy to see they had it here and I order it almost every time I go to Min Ga. It's so delicious and a perfect cold weather meal. I think I could eat it every day. They provide the best banchan (Korean side dishes). I clean every little tiny plate every time I stop by.The service is friendly and efficient. You rarely have to wait for anything. The space is somewhat small but it doesn't feel cramped, but rather, intimate. Best of all, the prices are very fair. Don't pass this one up!

Food is good, service a little slow, I was expecting the Bo Chan comes before the real meal, but it almost comes after the main dish we ordered.

If I had to recommend a Korean restaurant for someone new to cbus, I would say Min-Ga. Not only are they generous with their banchan (9???), they are one of the only restaurants I know that serve soondae  swoondaeThe quality of their dishes is pretty dang decent and I feel like it's a hotspot not only for OSU students but also for plebs. The ladies who run the establishment are very attentive and efficient, and the restaurant is kept very neat and tidy.

Min-Ga is located on Bethel Road in the strip mall across the street from Micro Center. I have been going here for years and LOVE their lunch menu that runs until 2:30 pm.The hot stone bibimbap comes crackling hot and topped with fresh veggies, beef, and a fried egg. The banchans are flavorful. My favorites are the fish cake and kimchi. Service is brisk, precise, and friendly.I highly recommend Min-Ga for you next Korean adventure!

We've been eating here for many years. If you ask me where is the best Korean food in Columbus, I would tell you it's definitely Min-Ga. We always order some soup in the cold weather, and the cold noodles in summer time. A lot of people don't know they have another half with a lot of seats. Anyway, Min-ga is the place where we always go after watching Korean shows. Just can't say no to Korean food. Haha!

Absolute hidden gem in a store front on Bethel Rd. Amazing authentic Korean food, staff was beyond nice, and the atmosphere was great! I tried several dishes and had zero complaints. I will be going back for more!
