Milky Way Matcha Bar

So I love the name of this restaurant and how their drink names match with the theme (e.g. strawberry supernova, cosmic matcha, etc). I ordered the Milky Way matcha, which contains iced organic matcha, vanilla, milk (for 75 cents you can substitute it with oat or macadamia milk), vanilla cosmic creme and matcha dust. I love matcha. I make it at home and have had it at various coffee and tea shops. Many places tend to serve matcha lattes on the sweeter side, and since I tend to like my drinks a bit more bitter I usually ask them to give me the drink with less ,or even no sugar if that's an option.I do not think I am the right audience for this drink shop. The drinks are beautiful and the menu is fun. The vanilla cosmic creme was delicious and added a nice texture to the drink. BUT THE DRINK WAS SO SWEET, even after I asked for their option with the lowest amount of sugar. My first sip was extremely sweet and by the end of the drink it was only mildly sweet since it wasn't mixed well and a lot of the matcha was concentrated at the bottom. I didn't love this, and thought for the price (I paid $7) it should be a well-balanced drink that tastes delicious in addition to looking good.Overall I don't think I will go back. I might check Fukuryu Ramen since this is where the place is located and I have never been to the restaurant before. The great thing about my experience was the server. She was very kind and enthusiastically answered all my questions, I appreciated that.

I ordered the Strawberry Supernova, which tasted fine, but was nothing to write home about either. The strawberry puree overpowers the matcha, so I didn't really taste any matcha in my drink and tastes more like strawberry and milk. My friends ordered taiyaki in both available flavors, Nutella and cheese and chive. Neither were impressed with the fillings.

They have limited hours but once you get them when they are open it is worth it. Milky Way is attached to Kukuryu Ramen. There is a little walk up window to order at. I ordered the cosmic matcha and a nutella taiyaki. Both were delicious. The matcha was creamy. The taiyaki warm and a perfect little treat.

This place is so cool. Fun drinks & snacks at this to go window on the side of Fukuryu Ramen in Bridge Park.There's a lot more drinks I want to try as well as snacks.Unfortunately, the Ramen Rice Krispy and Ube Butter Mochi are on the menu but not actually offered :/I was definitely excited for funky, savory offerings.The mozzarella & chive taiyaki was tasty but not mind blowing. The Cosmic Matcha drink was good but wish it was more lavender forward.All in all, it's a welcomed addition and look forward to try them again.

I stopped by on Saturday during the Dublin Farmers Market and was very excited to see that they were open as I love Fukuryu and was excited to try their matcha! The shop itself is a small window next to the entrance of Fukuryu. There was a bit of a line, but seemed normal since it was during the farmers market. They had a decent selection of both matcha and coffee and offered milk alternatives (oat and macadamia). I ordered the cosmic matcha with oat and paid $7. The drink was good, but on the sweeter side than most matchas I've previously had. The cosmic crème and berry dust was delicious. The lavender flavor in the matcha was very nice, but I noticed the matcha itself was very concentrated at the bottom of the drink and the top was mostly sweetener/milk and was hard to stir since it's given in a strawless lid. This caused the drink to be super sweet at the beginning and then super grassy at the end which I didn't love. I'd love to come back and try some other flavors as well as the coffee! I'd recommend asking for a straw to stir the drinks and maybe ask for less sweet if you're not a fan of super sweet things! **bonus points because if you're a rewards member at Fukuryu the rewards carry over to Milky Way Matcha!

Great service, delicious and carefully crafted drinks and snacks. I was excited for the Nutella taiyaki but the cheese and chive one exceeded my expectations! They have a small out door ordering window, but since it was raining they took orders and folks waited inside. We will be back!

I stumbled onto this place while looking online for coffee and I was lucky to find it because it is an extension of Fukuryu Ramen. They have a scannable menu at the bottom of their little to-go window with very few, but very good-sounding drink options. The drinks are aesthetically beautiful and look like they were made with love and magic. I ordered the lavender haze and the strawberry supernova, and holy cow were they good. The lavender has a heavenly cloud foam on top and the supernova has aromatic house-made strawberry purée inside. The drinks did take longer than a normal drink to be made but I can see why. This might be my go-to in the area.

Such a cute little matcha cafe!! The worker was sweet and our drinks came out so quick (not to mention beautiful). As an avid matcha drinker, I'd say this is some of the best matcha I've had!!

I'm a huge matcha lover and was super excited to check this place out after seeing some cute Instagram reels. My friends and I tried the original, a vanilla matcha, and a strawberry matcha and honestly I didn't feel like any of the drinks were outstanding. The matcha also didn't seem actually mixed well either. Maybe we came on a miss day in terms of the matcha-ristas, but any other bubble tea place in town has better matcha drinks. I was disappointed by the quality here. It is mainly aesthetic hype and meh taste.

Fantastic coffee and matcha with a very friendly staff. Their Nutella taiyaki is really tasty!
