Milano's Italian Restaurant

Restaurant; right off Broad in a strip mall. We did not have reservations and was lucky to get right in. Food; We started with the bruschetta, which was a bit old school as the cheese and tomatoes were served on a lightly toasted slice of roll, but still had good flavor. Chicken picatta was cooked to order and was ok, but Penne Alla Vodka was delicious. Chardonnay was perfect.Shari G was our server, very friendly.

Since new ownership food has gone downhill. My absolute favorite is Linguini Primavera with chicken . Have been getting this every visit for years and years . Always so flavorful.usually full of veggies but pretty cheap on them today. Pasta looked old. I think the chef forgot to put in a bunch of ingredients that would make it tasty like the olive oil, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, rosemary and like no olive oil. I can eat just about anything but this was awful. I took a few bites and said I can't do this. Plus it left about taste of my mouth. Rick was very nice. He brought me spaghetti with meat sauce and honestly, it wasn't much better I can't really recommend this place, kudos to Rick the server and Rebecca the hostess, but the food is awful. Very sad to see one of my favorite restaurants go downhill.

Decided today that I would finally hit Milano's Italian Restaurant up. My waitress was India, she and the rest of the staff were wonderful. They checked on me adequately and kept my water full. I ordered the Rigatoni and a side of Alfredo. Came with a salad which was nice and fresh. I had Honey French dressing which was delicious. The Rigatoni had a nice tastey sauce with a cheesy topping that could have have been baked a little longer. The highlight of the meal was the breadsticks surprisingly. They had the perfect crispness to them. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to try more of the menu.

Delicious spaghetti with meatballs. Also I enjoy their lasagna. Frequently order carryout.

Decided to try this place out because it came recommended by my boss. But that recommendation was years ago. Something must of happened since then. My meal was ok. Started out with zucchini fries. They were very good. Came out very hot and was a large portion. Then had the house salad with house vinaigrette. It was delicious. My main course was Spaghetti Carbonara which I added chicken. Very large portion came out. First thing I noticed, of course, it lacked flavor. I really had to doctor it up with lots of salt, pepper and grated Parmesan. It was very creamy, just wish it had flavor. Forgot to mention when the waitress came over after we sat down, she brought what looked like garlic sticks, cut in half. They were good. My husbands main course was a Delmonico steak. Yes, I know this is an Italian restaurant, but the Italians are also known for their fine cuts of meat. Especially in Florence. First impression was it was not a "delmonico". Delmonico is a very large steak, at least 2 inches thick. This steak was maybe an inch. My husbands description of the flavor was way too salty and way over cooked. He ordered it medium rare and it was definitely medium well. So, my husband NEVER sends food back. He had to send this one back. Told the waitress no seasoning. Second steak came out, still over cooked and cold. I felt it with my finger. It was like they just took it out of the refrigerator. He told the waitress and she offered to take it off the bill but my husband said no. He would take it home and warm it up. It was still over cooked though. I would have told them to take it off. So, kinda a mixed review. I think it could have been better. My suggestion would be to replace the cook. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was typical of an Italian restaurant. But low key. Older and needs updating.

Went for lunch today to celebrate a friend's bday. We both wanted liver and onions which they have on their lunch menu.Becky was our server and she was outstanding! We both ordered the liver/onions which the portion size was good for a lunch. I had the Italian wedding soup with a side of spaghetti. Their breadsticks are the best in town!! Becky gave us a scoop of Spinoni ice cream to celebrate my friend's bday! Looking forward to going back soon!

Great food, the decor and ambiance reminds me of me of my trip to Rome! The people there were so nice and the service was great.

Everything was amazing the food was amazing I had the fresh parm veal and it tasted great it had great atmosphere and the bread sticks were the best I've ever had they were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside our waitress sherry she was amazing she was very nice and got us everything we asked for very quick the only complaint I have is there coke is flat and there day time bartender was very rude to me and a old woman that sat behind me but everything about the restaurant was great would 100% recommend going!!

We got carry out this past weekend. The food was so bad. I got Chicken Parmesan with wedding soup. It looked nice in the container but the chicken was extremely dry, no seasoning and had a weird sour taste. The sauce was really thin and didn't stick to the noodles and there wasn't much of it. The wedding soup wasn't good and even the breadstick was just an Olive Garden type plain stick of bread with no butter or salt or anything. My husband got a pasta dish and it was bland as well. Two entrees cost 42 dollars! Will never go back.

To give some honest feedback, the cajun chicken pasta was very salty. i liked the italian sampler and the bread and this soda they have. but i couldn't get over the overwhelming spices (and i don't mean spicy) atmosphere was OK but not cozy, service was good - a little expensive for the experience
