I went online to arrange an appointment to pick up a donation. They arrived promptly on the designated date and took the item with them. I have always tried restore in FL when I lived there. Now I will explore them here in OH. You never know what you will find!

This place has completely changed from what it was originally. Everything in here is overpriced. I didn't see any real deals. They had a display of caraway pots & pans in the from that retailed for $316 and it was marked $300. These were returned items from previous customers. The overall quality of the items was terrible in comparison to the price. You would do better going to a big box store because at least you can return a damaged item

I'm so freakin' glad I discovered this place. Whenever I'm in need of materials (usually for art projects), I'll come here before going anywhere else. My last good find was a giant box of small white tiles for roughly five bucks. I still have a few left but I've been using them for alcohol paintings and getting supplies here saved me a good bit of cash. They also have used furniture and a lot of home materials. Their stock comes from donations, leftover construction materials, etc. and it's nice to know that these things are being reused and not just thrown out or wasted. The staff here is also really friendly and always greets you with a smile. If you're looking to remodel a home or want some art supplies (paint, brushes, tiles, etc) then come here first. Save yourself some money and give back to a great cause at the same time.

This place seemed to change around the time the cool mural was painted over with blah beige. I suppose it fit better with the corporate overlords whose name graces the front of the building. You can still find a few good deals, but those are very rare. The lightbulb selection and prices aren't terrible. But more likely you'll find overstock from Restoration Hardware, overpriced already, that's priced similarly to what you'd find in Lowes. They did have some cheap tubs of sanitized wipes and off brand vacuum bags. Then there's the disorganized shelves with items way past their usage factor. It's worth a visit for that rare deal if you're in the area.

Great shop! I've come here a few times to pick up this or that, and I always wish I'd come in before starting any project just to see what they have. TONS of different items, and new things all the time- if you need an old door or a random tool, they might have it, and at a much better price. Great for crafters and upcycle projects as well, just a ton of different large and small things. Plus, your money goes to a great cause!

Great place for lost treasures and nostalgic memories. You can really find some great deals here. I was able to get a stove for $45.00 and it was in perfect condition. There is paint, cabinets, appliances, tools, furnaces, hot water tanks and anything else you can think about needing if trying to rehab a home. This place is THE place to go to for some awesome deals. You really have to visit this not so hidden gem!

A hardware thrift store? Yeah, that's about right. It's a great idea, and there's plenty of useful stuff. A lot seems to come from hotels. We'll certainly be back to get a few things. Prices are not as low as I'd hoped, and some of the stuff is pretty beat up. But it's definitely a good place if you're remodelling.

Great spot for home remodeling. Most of their selection just needs some elbow grease and minor handy work to make like-new.

Habitat for Humanity plays an essential role in providing affordable housing and building community connections, which is why they're widely valued. Their dedication to supporting families in need through volunteerism and homeownership opportunities is impactful. However, as someone who has worked within the organization, I've observed several internal and strategic challenges that seem to indicate a disconnect between Habitat's mission and some of its practices. One area of concern is Habitat's current approach to modeling all stores in line with a single, upper-class location. While the standardized model may bring consistency, it doesn't necessarily fit the needs of each unique community Habitat serves. For stores in more economically diverse areas, an upscale model can inadvertently create barriers to accessibility, shifting focus away from the affordability that is at the heart of Habitat's mission. Adapting each store to align with its specific community could enhance the organization's local impact, ensuring it remains responsive to the economic realities of those it aims to support.Additionally, within the organization, there are opportunities for improvement in workplace culture. Limited training and inconsistent leadership have contributed to challenges that affect both employees and volunteers, especially those with specific needs or disabilities. Efforts to address these concerns have not always been met with the openness one might expect, which may reflect a need for greater alignment between Habitat's external values and internal practices.Overall, Habitat for Humanity has the potential to serve as a true model of inclusivity and community-focused action. By tailoring store operations to fit local needs and fostering a more supportive internal environment, the organization can amplify its mission and deepen its positive impact across communities.

A great place to donate homeowner, handyman stuff. Buying can be an adventure. Selection spotty and some items are not bargains. But certainly worth a look. I have donated some very quality stuff I didn't need.
