I visited Mi Sombrero because I wanted to try their buffet. The restaurant is adorable with vibrant, colorful, cheerful chairs. We chose a booth and enjoyed the warm chips and salsa. The buffet offered a small variety, which was disappointing, but I did enjoy creating my own tacos. Be aware that they charge a 3% fee for credit card use. We planned to pay cash so we asked them to waive the fee, but they suggested we simply leave a smaller tip. That was awkward. During the summer, there's an interesting outdoor market with vegetables and plants for sale which is a nice touch. I may not return for the buffet, but I am interested in trying some of the regular entrées in the future.

Wow! Looks like fiesta jalisco has competition!! Our first time here, and happy we stopped. Those margaritas, wow! They were outstanding! The food was very good, i got two enchiladas with salsa and guacamole. Service was great! She took her time making us feel at home. Very attentive to our needs. The ambience was casual, and the idea of putting condiments on a shelf above to all maximum table use.

Have not been in a while and was very happy on today's lunch visit. In addition to the complimentary chips and salsa I had the lunch chicken chimichanga. Nice size with rice and beans for a fair price. Was great they offer the lunch menu on a Saturday as many places exclude weekends. Interior is clean and has a good Mexican flair. Today's service was outstanding by a very attentive and quick young man.

We just recently moved to Ohio from Southern California. So to say the least, we are used to the very best Mexican food. However, we were pleasantly surprised by this place. I have to say the service was exceptional! Guacamole, good. Margarita, delicious. I had a big burrito with red sauce on top and steak inside. Pretty good. I don't think I'll ever find salsa as good as California, but this was pretty good. I'll try some other things next time.

Went for lunch on Taco Tuesday. They have a buffet during lunch time but I wasn't wanting too much, so I opted for beef tacos. Tacos were filled with beef, lettuce and cheese. Tacos were crispy! Ordered fried icecream - and it was huge! This is a good consistent Mexican place that always makes great food.

This place is great. Outstanding service and delicious food. We went on a Thursday night and this place was packed. I guess everyone else already knew this place was good. Really looking forward to going back and trying something new. I had the #29 and the chimichangas were outstanding. Even the kids likes what they ordered. Fast service at Mi Sombrero.Not long after you are seated, they bring chips and salsa to your table. The chips were ok. The salsa is very good.I had the #79 tonight, which is called Choripollo. The Choripollo is chicken breast topped with chorizo. This dish is served with rice, beans and tortillas. The chicken and chorizo mix was excellent.I hate to give this place only three stars because the food is pretty good. The issue I have here is that the couple times I have eaten here, although the food is brought out quickly, the servers never spend more then a couple seconds at your table. Don't expect any recommendations on best dishes or pretty much any kind of interaction. To some people that is ok, but for me, I like to know what's the highly recommend dishes, why they recommend them and a little bit of conversation.

Food's pretty good but had a few concerns last visit. Both orders were wrong, I added pineapple to the fajitas but they put pineapple in the quesadilla however the waiter corrected and again food was good. Didn't realize it but got charged for pico de gallo we didn't receive but my main concern, I handed the server cash and asked for change TWICE but never got my change so he helped himself to a nice tip.

Beware! They charge for chips and salsa and don't tell you. Asked server about it and he was very rude. Food was just okay. Never going back, feel taken advantage of and definitely not dealing with a rude waiter.
