Mi Sombrero

Fantastic friendly service, clean restaurant, excellent food.I was traveling through Plain City for work, and craving Mexican food. Mi Sombrero turned out to be a fantastic choice.My food was excellent! The price was reasonable.The employees were very cheerful and enthusiastic, which really adds to a good dining experience.

This was a pickup order.The price of the food felt incredible high for the amount of food. I can respect a high price when the amount of food is fair. I paid $78 for 2 large cheese dips (probably fair, but chip amount felt very low), 2 chicken quesadillas (price would feel fair with side of rice included), and 2 #68 (really felt ripped off). The #68's had very little rice included with them. With the amount of onion included, it really needed more rice. Maybe a personal opinion, but this is my review. Overall very dissatisfied. Unlikely I will return. Wish I had seen a review warning me about the price per quantity.

There is a full parking lot available but no garage and no street parking at Mi Sombrero in Plain City The salsa was excellent! A touch of spice was an unexpected surprise. The tortilla were not special. Crispy and thin. I think salt was needed. Hubs ordered #41 burritos tipicos. He requested 2 chicken burritos. (One chicken and one beef was standard on the menu)Inside the burritos was Shredded chicken, grilled bell pepper and onions. The burritos were topped with cheese sauce and served with a guacamole salad and refried beans. My husband said the burritos were delicious! The refried beans were topped with cheese and very creamy. Delicious!The star of the show was my order #50 Molcajete. This $20 entree was the most expensive item on the menu and WORTH every penny!Molcajete is simply a large black stone bowl. Inside there was 3 large pieces of tilapia, lotsa steak, chicken and shrimp. Green bell pepper and slices of onion are swimming in fajita sauce with all of that meat. Amazing!On the side a large plate of refried beans, rice and guacamole salad plus tortillas were served. This is a large meal! Plan to bring half home, especially if you enjoy the chips and salsa appetizer! Mi Sombrero offered 2 Mexican beers on tap plus a mini fridge full of beers. Service was friendly and efficient. We will return and definately recommend supporting this newer restaurant in Plain City.

Plain city has another good restaurant. Good food, good price good service. Plain City needed a different and new restaurant. This is a good place to go. The service was excellent. The place is very clean. Food was hot and delivered in a reasonable time. The flavors were very good. Queso was right on. Give it a try.

Food is good however 1 salsa and chips per table extra charge for any additional. We paid separately because it was a group. Not everyone shares food. If we would have set separate then we would have also all got our own salsa and chips but since we share a table we had to share our food. They also charge a fee for using credit card.

The soft tacos were soooo good must try and the server was patient and kind to us you need to try this place.

Decent diner. I'd go again. Gone a few times and it's a nice meeting place for diner breakfast,

This restaurant is in a small strip mall area And there's plenty of parking. I went on a Wednesday evening. The service was good, and the food was good as well. My nephew got a free kids meal. I don't know if they offer free kids meals every day or just on Wednesdays but that was a nice surprise. The prices were very good. I got Carnitas street tacos and they were fantastic! It's nice to have a new restaurant option in the area.
