Mezzo

This place is so charming and cute in old Dublin along with an amazing HH!! I have met many friends here after work to split a $12 bottle of wine (during HH in/ at the bar) along with a super light and yummy flatbread type pizza. They have about 4 different options and can choose from and even substitute gluten free crust if need be!! Yay! I have had most of all their HH menu and everything is shareable and good. Especially for the price it can't be beat!! If you are looking for a great charming place to meet friends or go out for date night Mezzo would be a great option! Also lots of free 3-2hr parking in surface lots near and close by!!

Located on a charming street corner in a two-story building, this Italian restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was welcoming, though we felt the comment about having to leave by 6 PM due to a reservation was unnecessary--two hours is more than enough time to enjoy a meal.The pizza was fantastic, and everyone at our table loved it. The gnocchi were delicious, but the pappardelle was overly greasy for our taste. The biggest letdown was the carbonara, which tasted more like fast-food pasta than a quality Italian dish.Overall, it's a nice spot with standout pizza and gnocchi, but some dishes and service details could be refined.

I've eaten at Mezzo twice, both times food was just ok.Each time I thought it was a Mediterranean restaurant based on the name but it is not - it is Italian. Inside the restaurant has got that old people Italian restaurant vibe. Ate upstairs once and it had a gross fishy smell in the air. Second time dined in outdoor patio which was lovely ambiance.Beverages are fine, but the food doesn't deliver on the taste and experience of delicious Italian food you'd expect as described on the menu. Arancini is good starter. The Eggplant Parmesan is not good at all - the way I make it at home runs circles around this one for taste, texture. While there are some vegetarian options, the restaurant focuses more on the meat-side.If the food weren't so expensive, I might be more generous with the review - but no, everything is massively overpriced - for the pleasure of eating in the heart of downtown Dublin perhaps? Not worth the spend.

My husband and I were looking for something new and Mezzo did not disappoint!! We made a reservation. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing with a certain style and warm. We sat in the bar area at a high top table and the place was busy. Our server was efficient, quick, and very nice! We didn't have to wait for anything. We split a Caesar salad and asparagus which were both very good. I had the veal Marsala and my husband had the pappardelle bolognese both excellent. Everything was perfectly made. Then for dessert we had the rocky road delight. Very good!! We will definitely be back!

I made reservations for my husband's birthday and we were so excited to see a charcuterie board on the menu but when it arrived we were shocked to find that this was it. The board cost $25 and this is all that was on it. I don't know if this is all they had but still wanted to sell it or if more things didn't make it on to the plate but we were shocked. $25 for 4 pieces of cheese, probably an 1/8th of an apple, 7 grapes. It was very lackluster.

I asked the bartender at the hotel where was a good Italian restaurant and he said without thinking, Mezzo! Just up the street. I'm originally from Columbus and the Italian food here is second to none. Mezzo did not disappoint! I had the chicken Mezzo with rigatoni rather than the spaghetti. I was by myself but the service was as good as I've had. Mezzo is a nice little restaurant on the corner in the middle of Dublin - it has a Cheers vibe which is nice. I finished the dinner with the tiramisu, which was made in house and very good. I'll try to come back next time I'm here.

Mezzo!!! I visited in 2019 and finally made it back tonight and it was just absolutely superb! Brian was our server and he is the BEST hands down.My group of 6 and I made it out to here to celebrate the birthday of a lovely friend. Making a reservation was easy and so was parking in the lot nearby.The restaurant itself is dimly lit and intimate. My only complaint is that it is insanely loud. But otherwise it is lovely.The food is fantastic. I went with the Orecchiette and it was perfect! I also had a glass of lovely red wine that paired nicely with the pasta. I have no complaints and will definitely be back soon!!

Had dinner here last night with my daughter . Haven't been here in awhile. We had the baked feta appetizer which was good . We also had the carbonara , I had shrimp in mine and had enough to take home for another meal . It's a nice place in the summer time as they have nice out door settings

Will never return. Old lettuce/wilted salad. Asked for parmesean and received a nearly empty sticky glass container. Sat near the kitchen but somehow the $27 pasta we ordered came out cold. No thanks.

Mezzo is a more intimate placeto enjoy Happy Hour. Their very thin pizzas are Terrific it. The prices are wonderful. The service staff are nice and friendly.Enjoy...
