Mezze

Some errands brought me to this side of town and yelp led me to Mezze as a well reviewed fast casual restaurant. The employees were nice and helped explain some of their items. It works similarly to chipotle where you choose a meat, sides, etc. and basically build your own bowl.I got the gyro and they slice and grill it up for the bowl which was nice. I also got some fries cause I can't resist french fries. They had a mezze sauce which was great and I wish I got some extra to go with, well, everything.A great fast casual place but can be a tad pricey. I think my meal came out to ~20 with the fries but I did end up having enough food for two meals so not terrible.

Super awesome service. The cashier was extremely patient with me. Answered my questions, gave solid recommendations, and served samples to make sure I was ok with my selection.

It's hard to believe that this is a healthy choice due to how scrumptious it is! They are always so consistent and they never let me down. Have to say this is one of my go to take out restaurants.

Great fries and sauces. Many flavors. Always fresh. Will go back. Clean seating area. Quick accurate service. Affordable food.

Unassuming little spot tucked in the corner of the complex but has 4.5 stars and I'm a sucker for Mediterranean food so had to stop in. It's a unique concept where you pick a "base" of either pita, salad or hummus and then add protein, toppings, heat level (or not) and sauce. I picked hummus base with chicken swarma and all the toppings, house sauce and comes with pita. It was built quickly by staff and came out as a FULL to go box worth of food. Wildly delicious and a monster amount of food for the price. I loved it especially the house sauce.

So many solid Mediterrenean restaurants on this stretch of Hamilton, but Mezze is my favorite. I usually get a 50/50 rice bowl or salad with lotsa veggies, hummus added and whatever protein I'm feeling that day. It may seem a bit pricey, but I doubt I've ever finished a huge bowl here in one sitting, so it's worth it. Employees are always great and friendly and if the owner is there, it's a good chance Billy Joel will be playing.

Got a Mediterranean pita with chicken shawarma all the veggies and the house sauce, added a grape leave and I didn't see it in the bag but it was in the sandwich! It was phenomenal. There used to be a Mezze 15 years ago a few blocks down on Morse and Hamilton, had similar wood work inside, and I haven't had quick Mediterranean this good since. I'm a chef and can be kind of picky.

Very tiny proportions. Couldn't even taste any meat on my gyro. Appears inflation has hit hard. Over $29 for for two small gyros with very light ingredients, two small fries and two small ice teas is way over the top. Fries were not bad. Restaurant is not very clean. Service was good.Will not return.

Great quality food, ingredients are always fresh.Service is friendly and on time.Their dinning area is comfortable enough to eat in.
