Would not recommend in the slightest. Walked in and immediately noticed the poor smell and rotting ceiling, waitress sat us (at a sticky table) and not much happened until our food arrived. I ordered a sirloin steak and mashed potatoes. A grey and hard hamburger patty, a stale piece of bread, and potatoes arrived. The burger patty (again I ordered steak) was severely overcooked and had an odd texture, and the potatoes had a weird aftertaste almost metallic. I feel bad leaving such a poor review on a small family owned business, but they generally need to up their food quality and clean. If the front of the restaurant was so dirty I can't imagine the back.

Very below average breakfast diner food. I ordered the special, and after waiting a considerable amount of time, was disappointed it was served cold, and home fries were not even cooked. The atmosphere was dingy at best. Tables and floors were sticky. Hostess greeted us by yelling, "just wait there 'til we get to you." Definitely not the type of family diner experience I am used to. I would recommend checking out any other breakfast spot while in Loudonville.

Couldn't get past the uncleanliness to enjoy my breakfast! I can't believe a restaurant doesn't do a better job. At first glance we parked where they dip the grease. That made me about sick. Still trying to be positive and think hole in the wall restaurants usually have good food. Curtains had a 1/2 inch of dust on them. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and white toast. I would rate the food a 2. Toast was barely buttered, eggs were good, home fries were all different thicknesses and the thick ones were under cooked, bacon was not crispy at all. Will not return!

I wish Yelp would let you choose zero stars. This restaurant, which is a strong word, should serve as the example of a zero or even negative star place.I told my grandparents I wanted to go somewhere for dinner that was decent, and they took me here. They couldn't believe a place could serve all you can eat perch for $5.99. The moment I walked in I realize this wasn't going to go over well and a family dinner we would discuss for years to come. There wasn't a person in the place under 300 lbs. You know the kind of people with their gut hanging out of their XXXL Harley T-shirt.I tried to play it safe by getting a chicken sandwich with let, tom, and onion with a side of green beans. I figured you couldn't get bad vegetables in the sticks of Ohio. Once I got the sandwich it didn't have onion and it was smothered in mayo, which I didn't ask for. The green beans looked like they were dumped out of a jolly green giant can and popped in the microwave. On to of that, my sister sat next to me and had air conditioning water dripping on her food. Although it probably improved the taste of her fried chicken. After barely touching my plate I decided to get some pie because I was still starving. The blackberry filling wasn't too bad actually, but the crust was made out of a pizza box and couldn't be cut even after asking for a steak knife. The meal only cost $70 for the 8 of us, but I've had much more edible meals at mcdonalds or in a dumpster behind walmart. I've never eat out of a dumpster but I imagine that this is the closest I will ever come.To sum it up, instead of going here, go hungry. It's not worth the risk of hepatitis C or gastrointestinal infections.

Well, this is a good quick place for an average meal. Seat yourself. This is a local place for locals that serves its purpose. Cheap eats and no frills. Our server is the granddaughter of the owner and recommended the French toast. Mine was served up dusted with powdered sugar and a used empty butter packet. I'm not picky about that last item... but others in my group gave it an eewww. Pancakes were decent however had a hint of onion and green pepper flavor from the home fries that must have been prepared on the adjacent grill space. 7 of us rang up a $28 tab for breakfast, so it was about as expected. This place has been around for decades and used to have all you can eat pancakes for $1. The memories are still there however the parking lot hasn't been paved since around 1985. Overall an average local place to eat that seems to be on the same slow decline as the local area.
