Meetpot BBQ & Hotpot

Met a friend here for lunch. We like all the Korean AYCE places. This one was pretty darn good. We came right when they opened at noon. Pretty standard spread of sauces and salads out front, nice hot burners at the table. Our server seemed to have just woken up, but he woke up more and warmed up as the meal went on. He was attentive, just maybe not fully caffeinated yet. The meats and veggies available are pretty much like other restaurants. However, they have cumin lamb, and both of us love lamb. And none of the spicy things we tried were at all spicy, though they were flavorful and tasty. They changed the griddle between almost every batch. The price for lunch was reasonable. All around, we had a great experience. Great food, nice place, reasonable price, good service. Definitely will be back.

As we starting the new year, so is the hot pot and bbq place still going strong. Here we have another hot pot and bbq place opened up, Meet Pot.The space is very spacious and occupied the old Wurst Und Bier space. The format is similar to other hot pot and bbq place. Have options to opt in for either hot pot or bbq or pick both. Appetizers, sauce bar and dessert are self serve.Some differences would be on the menu items. They have more seafood option for both hot pot and bbq. For hot pot, love they have the honeycomb tripe For BBQ, other than the menu items, the sauce and seasoning would be slightly less and leaning toward the Chinese bbq style. Which they have dry seasoning option like spicy bbq and spicy cumin. Another things that stand out would be the tin foil bbq items. I tried the Shrimp with Vermicelli and love it.They also have bubble tea and snow ice available, which are not cover inside the all you can eat. They just opened up and currently in soft opening. Service is great but food may take some time to come out when they are busy. Be Patience and enjoy your time.

Like mushrooms,, kbbq and hotpot joints have been spawning all over Columbus of late. Meetpot is a truffle - a special one in the midst of Columbus. While their hot pot broth leaves a little to be desired, their kbbq really shines and if I were to be honest to myself, I came here for meats anyways. Their shortrib is thickly sliced which maximizes on the chee that plays really nicely with the flavourful cut. They also have tni foil dishes and frog legs which is something that you don't really see anywhere else. They are currently in their soft opening phase so the question remains to be seen if they are consistent but worth a try!

A great addition to the growing hotpot/BBQ scene here in Columbus. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant has an excellent sides/sauces bar and ice cream as well! I've been to just about every hotpot place in the Columbus area and this one is right up there with the best. Reasonable prices as well. We had lunch, but the dinner menu looks awesome as well. Very clean inside and still has that shiny new look about it.

The meet pot barbecue is amazing here! The food town very fast and they replaced the barbecue place very often.

We tried them for the first time tonight and thought it was pretty good! Service was great and we didn't have to wait long to get our food started. The prices are decent and you get what you pay for. It's not the highest quality meat, but for an all you can eat meal, we were satisfied. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for both hot pot and Korean BBQ. Just make sure to come hungry!
