The atmosphere was great the other customers were fun and the staff was nice and charming. The food was on point!!

This is a unique restaurant and butcher shop with great ambiance. Good selections of beer and alcohol. The food is amazing! The Royal Dog was the best I've ever eaten! A plump hotdog with melted blue cheese and 2 thick cut slices of b delicious bacon in a bun, drool! The chicken tenders are really good! The stuffed portabella mushroom is stuffed with sweet Italian sausage and cream cheese-yum! So many other great dishes. The owner is very funny and entertaining. Friendly staff.

COVID-19: Everyone on the staff was wearing masks and the tables are socially distanced. Review:A great local spot to grab fresh meats and have a beer. They have a cool screen that lists the different beers on tap, where the are from, and their tasting notes. Further back in is the butcher shop, which has a large assortment of meats. The smoked and duck breasts were amazing. One of my favorites was the duck sausage with cherries, savory and sweet!

Great food, nice atmosphere, great mini-city. We got way to much food but it was all good.

Right in the center of town and possibly the only place with food and micro brews, definitely the only place with food, brews and in a butcher shop!Cool place, small bar. A limited menu with must items coming from the butcher case towards the rear of the place. A huge sausage selection, delicious bacon. Worth a visit if down town for lunch b

Nice atmosphere but the barmaid could be a little friendlier. She acts like she's bothered every time you ask for a refill on your draft.

Butcher/ bar combo? Come on, how can it not be awesome?! Not only can you enjoy a wide selection of whiskeys and beers, you can also order food prepared from the butcher shop such as "plate of bacon"! Yes just a big plate of bacon. There are also hot dogs with natural casings, sausage, etc. The staff is awesome too.I highly recommend this establishment.

The best meat in the area. I visited with a friend who is a die hard meat lover and very knowledgeable about meat. He talked with Adam, the butcher, about the meat he sells and it seemed like Adam knew meat better than anyone I've met and sourced the best local meat. I bought several bacon blueberry sausages and grilled them on my Weber grill after they stayed in my freezer for several days. The sausage was fabulous!! I wish I had bought all the bacon blueberry sausage Adam had in the store because I live so far away. If I am ever near Meathead Union I will definitely stop by to pick up some meat.

I normally love the vibe here. We are aware that if the gal behind the bar is unfriendly and disengaged, we are treated coldly. Today, 12/28/22, the bar gal wouldn't make eye contact, acted icy and spilled my partner's drink on the table and never mentioned it. No sorry. Didn't offer to help with the clean up. Super rude. She picks her favorite folks. It's never us. We love this place when she's not here. We wish we knew the work schedule.
