Mark's Homemade Ice Cream

I am in love with the peanut butter flavor and the seasonal Peach that's only available in July. I like to stop at the shop but if I'm not near Bucyrus I can also pick up my favorites in some stores.

The BEST ice cream! Conveniently located in Central downtown Bucyrus, this little gem of a hangout boasts homemade ice cream in dreamy flavors like Cow Tracks, which I think has everything except the kitchen sink in it. But my favorite is butter pecan, and they make it with perfectly toasted pecans!

This is a review not only for the ice cream place but for Ed especially. The ice cream is really tasty and will not disappoint. Ed however is the star. My family was in a car accident and Ed, who also works for the rescue squad became our hero. Ed came to hospital and offered a helping hand. He kindly drove my husband all the way to Columbus to find a rental car as all of the local places were closed. On the drive he mentioned this family gem and we had to check it out before leaving. The ice cream is delicious! I had the lemon pie flavor which had chunks of lemon flavored dough aka "pie crust" and husband's strawberry ice cream he said was delicious as well. I definitely recommend!
