I make a trip to Columbus a couple times a year and this place was new to my eye in searching for a good breakfast. One of my favorite breakfast dishes is biscuits and gravy. So they had me locked in.Upon entering you're greeted with an employee who asks if you're new or dined in before. Since we haven't they explained the menu and that it was open seating once we were done. Staff were quiet but yet friendly. Since we were early it wasn't busy, but the seats shortly after were collected by many piling in for some grub. The place was small diner like inside as well. I ordered the eggs-treme biscuits and gravy. While this dish just required some basic salt/pepper for the eggs it filling but yet simple and not so heavy. I enjoyed this place and would love to come back and try other items as another customer chose the breakfast tacos and they looked mouth watering!

I've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got my chance. Very conveniently located on Polaris Parkway. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. My friend and I ordered the bacon egg and cheese and then the chicken biscuit. I also ordered an OJ. was disappointed with the size of the actual biscuit, there could easily be more bread. I was also disappointed they use American cheese and not cheddar, the cheddar wasn't even melted onto the food so I just took the slice off and put it to the side. Aside from all that, the food was good. Again, said the actual biscuit wasn't larger and two biscuits and an OJ came to about $21 so not cheap, but I would get it again if I was nearby and craving a biscuit.

I absolutely love breakfast food. If I could eat it everyday and all day without worrying about negative health effects I would. But I digress. The first time I ever ordered here was on Uber Eats since I had a coupon. I heard the five and dime was a must try so I decided to go with that. It was okay. The bacon was the best part, perfectly crispy. The chicken was flavored well and juicy. But the cheese was not melted enough and the biscuit was VERY salty almost to the point I could not eat it. I thought maybe something wen't wrong that day and decided I would give this place another shot. Overall my chicken breakfast sandwich was a solid 3 stars. The next time I dined in. I like the fast casual concept of ordering at the counter and taking a number to a table to wait for your food. I ordered a vanilla foam cold brew and the retro plate. The eggs were cooked to my liking of being sunny side up as requested. Once again the bacon was perfectly crispy. The smash browns were okay, a bit soggy. And then I ordered a biscuit with a side of mushroom gravy. The mushroom gravy is outstanding, honestly my favorite item of the whole restaurant. The biscuit was again a little salty and okay. The texture was a little dense and it didn't taste as fresh (as I would have hoped for a restaurant who has biscuit in their name). The retro plate was a 4 mainly because of the 5 start mushroom gravy. And the cold brew was a 2.5, because it was just so sweet. I usually find Starbucks drinks pretty sweet, but this one topped theirs in terms of sweetness level. I would not order it again. So net, I am not running to go back, but when I do go back I might just order a side of mushroom gravy and a biscuit just because of how much I LOVE THE GRAVY.

Took a group of 12 here for lunch as a first time customer. Boy was this a great pick. Every person talked about this lunch for hours after we left it was so good. Quick order process too. I would be back.

The food is tasty and fresh. I love love breakfast food. The place is not laid out to be a cozy breakfast place, because the seating is packed in like sardines. I feel like they should have put the kitchen in back and just opened up the needed seating space. My sandwich was delicious. The cashier had a cold with a runny nose that he wiped with his hands...ewhhhhh. So next time excuse yourself and wash your hands, I won't mind, lol. But the food was good.

Great atmosphere. Nicely laid out with plenty of room for small groups. We were greeted immediately and asked if we've ever been in. We hadn't and received a run down on the restaurant. The menu is great! The food was awesome and I enjoyed the whole experience!

So a buddy texted me his wife picked this up, and they've been around a while, and we wanted something breakfast oriented, so it was a win. Cracker Barrel bought them out, and they have that weird corner of "tchotchke simple breakfast eats" - but MSBC feels like they bought it - and left it alone. Starting from the top:We walked in, and we were not the only ones here for a first time, as another couple were reading the menu. Honestly - the food does not look like much. Biscuits, you know? Simple. She kept it basic, and I was craving maple syrup. She loved hers - the retro plate - the bacon was perfect, and the smashbrowns had a kind of sour cream/chive vibe that was delicious (but unexpected). My sticky maple seemed simple - but it was filling. Great biscuits, great chicken, I felt the bacon was lost in the flavors and didn't share the same solid flavor from the retro plate bacon. But it was tasty, all the same. So yeah, biscuit heavy. But it's good, it's filling, and it's worth swinging by when you want some biscuity goodness. Up next: I want to try their biscuits and gravy!

Stopped in early Sunday morning and didn't have to wait very long to place or order. Food was delicious and came out fast. The coffee was tasty too.

Tasty little place! I thought the food was pretty good. Not outstanding but certainly good. I especially enjoyed the bacon. It was cooked perfectly. This is a great quick stop. Don't want to spend hours having brunch but want decent food with a friendly atmosphere. I had the grits bowl and while not overly flavorful, with some hot sauce, salt and pepper it ended up pretty tasty. My daughter had the retro. Again, delicious bacon but the smashed potatoes were pretty dry. The biscuit was good and I personally thought the jam was great! I would not go out of my way to come back but if there was one close to home, I'd certainly good again. I think they have an interesting menu and I'd like to try a few of their other options!

The first time that I passed this restaurant a year ago, I knew I wanted to give it a try. I visited this past Sunday. I was not aware of their concept prior to arriving--stand in line, place order, find seating, and have food delivered to table--I had to ask the customer standing in front of me. I will say that on a busy day, the front of the restaurant where you stand in line can be quite congested considering there is a table just a couple of feet from the front door. When I finally got to the counter to place my order, I ordered two retro plates with biscuit and jam. I asked to add an additional egg to one of the plates, and to have the eggs scrambled extra soft on one of the plates . I also added grits. I received a number (17) to place on table to have food delivered. When the food finally arrived, The smash browns and the eggs were room temp... not even a little bit warm, Plus the eggs on the plates looked the same...there were no eggs scrambled soft. We told and showed the server that the eggs were not scrambled soft ( I wished I had taken pics). I was not going to stress about my eggs not being hot, because my grits were piping hot; but my friend could not eat the eggs that were not scrambled soft. The server had the soft scrambled eggs redone, and this time the eggs were piping hot, but still not scrambled soft. The manager came to the table, got my table number, and said he will take of the price of the eggs from the bill. It was not until I left, that I realized that I should have gotten some type of receipt showing the credit of the eggs back to my credit card. Well, a day later, there has not been a refund back to my credit card, just the original charge. I will give one more day, and I may call the restaurant ( but I probably will not waste time as I have no proof of issue). If I ever return, it will be for a carryout. This way I will not have to worry about food sitting on counter getting cold waiting for server to eventually deliver to table. It appeared that there was only one server (maybe two) delivering the orders to all the tables. The biscuits, jam, and grits were delicious. I will state that the day prior to this visit, I had breakfast at another establishment, and all the food on my plate was delivered to my table piping hot.
