Mam's Rusted Skillet

Stopped here on our last night of our weekend stay. We both got a Mac n cheese dish and unfortunately we took the last batch. The waitress was very accommodating when she brought out our food and let us know that neither of our dishes were a full meal due to running out of Mac n cheese. Since it is homemade it would of been another 20 minutes to make more. I told her no worries we were fine but they ended up giving us a discount anyway! The food was still immaculate! We even got some pie to take home for the night! They had a great atmosphere and it was extremely clean! I highly recommend stopping by if you are driving through!

We are staying nearby and were glad to find this place. The food is good, the service is great, AND they let us eat on the back deck with our dogs. We will definitely return when we have a chance.

This place was phenomenal!! We ate here during a short family trip to hocking hills. Lots of menu choices for small kids and even vegetarian when that can be hard to find in the area. They also have some delicious barbecue. I had the Mac and Cheese bacon burger and it was fantastic

Reasonably priced comfort food. Ambiance of the small town, road side diner - but with beer! Not my mamaw's country cooking but it works in a pinch! Real mashed potatoes- not from the box.

The food was alright. I got the Queso Burger a.k.a. "El Chupacabra." It was fine.Other than that, I ordered the fried mushrooms. Sadly, half of them were still cold.My fiancé ordered chicken tenders with fries. The fries were soft and greasy, however the chicken was good.Just be weary of ordering anything fried since it's frozen and might not end up getting cooked all of the way.

I didn't expect to see this awesome place in the middle of nowhere. We were on the way to hocking hills and decided to stop by for food. This place serves no nonsense all-American comfort food for really good prices. If you order cheeseburger, you'll get a cheeseburger as you imagined it. If you ordered grilled cheese, you get straight to the point grilled cheese. And the server whom I think is probably the owner is super nice. It was a nice, warm, cozy brunch for us.

We were in town and figured we'd try the breakfast on Saturday, figuring it would be special since they don't serve breakfast during the week. Bottom line, we left shortly after receiving our order. The first clue was that the place was dark and empty except for one person seated at the bar. The coffee was cold and there were no utensils. When we received our food the cubed potatoes were soggy and cold. I ordered the bowl and it was obviously canned gravy and covered with unmelted Colby Jack cheese that looked old and obviously came from a bag. Overall it looked unappetizing. I informed our server we were not paying and left. We went to the Ridge Inn down the road which we know is great. Avoid this place at all costs.

Small town restaurant with rustic decor and historic pictures on the wall. I highly recommend the Squatch Burger it's my favorite! Service is great.

So glad we stopped in here today! Casual atmosphere, good food and great service from Addie. Definitely a do over.

Breakfast was nasty! service was good food not good at all. Highly recommend going on past and trying one of the other 3 places.
