This market is Pakistani. This was my first time for this cuisine. A good friend suggested we meet here, thus, it was a go! The place is rather small. It's a grocery market, and the "restaurant" space is on the right side of the joint. When we first headed inside, there was a gentleman that greeted us. I explained we were here to try the food, and he motioned to the small table and chair area for food. We took a seat and opened the menu. The gentleman was super cool - he explained the fishes as best as possible. Ranajoy, my Indian friend, was able to talk with him, thus translated to me what I ordered for us. We decided on a few dishes to share: chicken biryani, lamb biryani, curry chicken, and lightly battered veggie "bunches". I started in on the Lamb Biryani, but after about five minutes of eating it, my mouth was on fire from the spices, so I had to tag out. The curry chicken was very good. Pieces of both dark and white meat cooked super tender and tasty. The highlight of that dish: great mixture of spices, but not on fire hot. I really enjoyed that dish. The lady who made our dishes to order was very polite and good spirited! She didn't speak much English, thus Ranajoy deciphered that she had just got to the states. Yay for her food!
