M & M Chicken & Fish

I've been wanting to try M&M Chicken for some time now, but never quite find myself in that area at the same time that I have an appetite for fish.Well, I've been there twice and both times I've had the catfish. I've gotta say, it's golden delicious. Nice and flakey as I need it, great temperature with that "scenty" steam when you break it open. The flavor is on point, but kicked to the next level if you allow him to add lemon pepper seasoning to it. Sometimes, you may decide not to add tartar sauce and that, is a sign of a great tasting fish.They do provide bread which is good because it's great as a sandwich. But it's just as good if you eat it alone.The fries are nice and crispy, rounding out the meal perfectly. The only downside is the cramped parking, but that's not enough to hurt my decision to go back. The food is great. One day I may even try something different, but you know me, that creature of habit...

They know how to fry wings!!! Amazingly, the oil, even when I came close to closing time, tasted fresh & not old. If you want amazing full fried wings, this is the place. I have yet to try the fish. But I'll try that on my next trip!!

I usually go to fishers but M&M is just as good. I prefer the Livingston location over this one because they're more consistent. But the fish is great and it isn't cheap bony fish like you'll get at other "soul food" places.

This is probably my new spot to get fried chicken. The service is friendly, a little slow, but it is worth the wait. The prices are decent, and the wings aren't tiny like other places. The area is a bit rough, but if you can get past that, you should be good. I order the 10 pc wing dinner, which comes with 2 slices of bread and fries. I suggest getting lemon pepper and season salt when they ask.Wings 1-5=4.5.Fries 1-5=3.Customer Service 1-5=4.5.

Great food! Service is awesome as well. Can't pick any one item to brag about. The fish is delicious, the chicken is delicious ... just try a little bit of everything on the menu. You will not be disappointed

If you've ever been in to M&M you know what to expect. It's connected to a gas station on one of the hardest intersections in the city. The food is straight forward, fried. The waits aren't bad unless maybe the suns down and you're out front of the store. They season well and it's my grandmas favorite fish places in the city. I'd recommend it if you're looking for fried Chicken & Fish.

So let me start off by saying that the guy at the counter was very friendly and attentive. One star for that. I have tried many of the other chicken and fish places on the east side of Columbus and this one, being the closest to where I currently live became the choice for tonight because we have the snow storm rolling in and the roads are getting icy. Wanted to stick with something close by and something I hadn't tried before. I really liked a couple of the other places that were a little farther away. I was hoping this would be comparable or perhaps even better.Unfortunately, I was very underwhelmed overall. The fries were pretty bland and most of them were far too crunchy because they were edges or butts of the potatoes. I got the combo that also included chicken tenders and whiting. The whiting had the skin on and it was very chewy both on the skin side and the other side surprisingly. Didn't have a ton of flavor or a lot of crunch in the breading either. The chicken, well having decent flavor, had a strange kind of chewy texture that made it hard to bite into or chew up at all. One piece was okay, the other two were almost inedible. I didn't even want my dog to eat them. As I'm writing this, I'm kind of wondering why I gave it two stars and not just one. I think just because the guy was friendly and it wasn't completely inedible. Needless to say though, I will stick with J. Peppers or Mr. Chicken and Fish from now on.

Garbage, Placed order with Uber and the Fries were Burnt, Frost Bit, Chicken was Burnt & Greasy

This is the 2nd time I've come to this restaurant and have been taken advantage of. He changes his name but "Mohamed" as he called himself this time doesn't recall I'm the same customer he served food too cooked in old grease. I asked for the grease to be changed instead of realizing after I got home and he argued with me until someone else came out and made it right. The Macaroni and cheese was BLAND NO seasoning. Again, it's just not worth the hassle.

Not only was our gyros meat cold, our pita was as well and had not been added to skillet or heat at all, which causes it to break apart. This makes it impossible to eat in its proper form, more like gyro slop. Wish I could add pictures.
