Lumin Sky Bar & Kitchen

We are endlessly grateful to Lumin Sky Bar for hosting our first annual fundraiser to support domestic violence survivors. The venue is absolutely stunning--chic, sophisticated, and perfect for a night of connection and purpose. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was handled seamlessly.The food and drinks were phenomenal, and their incredible service made the entire evening flawless. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the beautiful space and the atmosphere Lumin provided. We truly couldn't have asked for a better partner to help make this important event such a success. Thank you, Lumin, for making it all possible!

My friend and I stopped by for their happy hour. We sat on the patio. Nice view of North Downtown. The place is clean and open, and the vibe is very chill. The happy hour has great deals. I'm all about the Paper Planes. The plates here are well portioned and a great deal. And the staff is friendly and attentive. I'm all about that. If you come to Columbus, check this place out. I dig it.

It was Friday around 9 when we visited. We didn't have reservations and were able to get a window seat for some drinks. Our view faced Huntington park area and there are very large windows to be able to see the scenery from our seats. The place was very empty and didn't have much of a vibe other than a nice view and more upscale because of it. Our waiter was nice and overly friendly which was good I don't exactly know how to describe it but he didn't quite fit the feel of the place. It was like he should've been working in a Red Robin instead of this place. Overall, it was a great place to pop into for some quiet drinks without having to fight for a spot to enjoy them.

I've enjoyed my experience every single time I've been to Lumin. Their service is great and is consistent every time. Love their cocktail options and changing menu items.During the winter they have the igloos outside with a nice view of downtown Columbus. The view is not as cute right now with the construction, but still nice!The cocktails can have a very strong alcohol taste (not complaining lol), but a heads up for those who might not like it super strong. The food is good, but nothing that's a "wow." The chicken wings have good flavoring on them though! Highly recommend. There's street parking along with valet.

We had an amazing time at Lumin. It helps that they were surprisingly dead on a Saturday afternoon with beautiful weather that made the outdoor seating feel like a perfect day. We'd definitely be back. (We also didn't order any entrees; it looks like most of the complaints here are about food quality.)PROS:-You come to a rooftop bar for the views, and Lumin has them. If you want to sit inside, gigantic floor-to-ceiling windows let you see outside, enjoying the view of the Short North and downtown. You can overload the highway (it's especially wild from a few tables where it feels like you're on top of the road), and you have a super awesome view of North Market too. -If you want to head outside, they have a pretty good outdoor patio too. There's a single entry point to get onto the patio; there's a second door, but it only opens from the outside for some reason. The chairs on the patio are amazingly comfortable, and it was deliciously warm sunlight around 4PM. There's very little table space at most of the couch/armchair seating outside, so it's designed for drinks only once you transition away from dinner. -Drinks were heavily poured and delicious. Everyone enjoyed every drink they ordered, and I'm honestly excited enough about the drinks to want to come back again. I want to say they were "hotel bar prices", but since all of Columbus seems to have gone to $13-17 a drink, they're about on par with anywhere you'd drink on the Short North. -Walkable from the Short North. If you do want to take heed to most of the reviews that hate the food here (and at Short North prices, I get that), you can easily eat at one of the food establishments nearby and walk 4 blocks to make it to Lumin. -Service was okay. It looked like one bartender and one waitress for the whole place. There were 8-10 groups, so it wasn't the worst, but if they had had a swamped Saturday, I might have had a different story to tell. She was busy, but pleasant, and was especially great about bringing out the check when we wanted to leave. -We really liked our flatbread. It was fresh, warm, and tasty. I'm not sure if it was a big enough portion to be worth the cost, but everybody was really happy with the flatbread. CONS:-Some of the outdoor/patio furniture is high-top tables. They do allow you to better see over the railing (not super necessary since they have a glass fence), but it did limit the seating options for someone who doesn't like high top tables.

I hate parking downtown..but what an amazing rooftop view!! It was so adorable inside. But come on now, compared to Vaso in Dublin, this doesn't stand a chance chance! The service was slow. The food was great. I had a couple extra dirty martinis of course. I had a shrimp tapa, it was so good. I don't know if I will be back, but it was good to experience it. It definitely felt more hotel vibes.

Very nice rooftop view. Nice place to grab drinks. Had the espresso martini and loved it! Service was very attentive would go again.

Downtown Columbus, the heart of OHIO.The Lumin Sky Bar & Kitchen was an excellent experienceMy significant other and I decided we wanted to have a date night, so I decided to surprise her with this Sky Bar.Upon arriving, the valet attendant was super helpful and kind.Once we got upstairs, we were greeted with such kindness.I had called and set up a reservation, which was extremely convenient.The gentleman who I spoke to on the phone was beyond kind, and he made sure to cater to any questions I had throughout the night.Our waitress was extremely down-to-earth and kind as well. I was overly impressed.As we are on this top floor, we were able to get a Birdseye view of the beautiful city of Columbus.I mean, absolutely stunning.If you are a sightseer, the Lumin Sky Bar will not disappoint you.We ordered a bunch of different things, and I must admit; everything was perfect. The charcuterie board was so rich and pure, and each ingredient was so intentionally thought out.My significant other got a salad, which was absolutely amazing. I got the calamari and the burger. Wow, I was impressed. The burger had this extremely authentic taste, and the calamari was out of this world. The drinks were phenomenal, and the menu had a great deal of different options, which was very convenient. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here if you were looking for a night out and just wanna have fun. The seating arrangements in the bar absolutely amazing, and you truly feel at home. If you're feeling spontaneous, head outside to the balcony; that is where the real view is at. The prices can be rather expensive, but the experience makes up for any dollar amount. Truly. The Lumin Sky Bar & Kitchen was a hit.-J.P

Out favorite rooftop lounge/bar in Columbus. We were able to get the couch area in the corner and it was very private so that my girl and I could enjoy our time without feeling crowded. We ordered drinks and dinner and it's always just the most relaxing time for a date night. She ordered salmon and I had the burger with fries. Everything came out timely and was delicious as expected. A few more drinks and the Sun went down and the city lights and fire pits give it a nice vibe. This is our place to just unwind and spend time together. Love it here!

Nice, clean, no issues. Had the fried pork skins, all good.Can recommend, friendly staff.
