Lovelys Lao Street Eats

I'm super pump to try out Lovelys Lao Street Eats finally. Their food truck reside right behind the Blank Canvas Barbershop in Grove City. Currently they operation on some weekend, so make sure to check on their whereabout on social media or on food truck finder. Not to mention, they also do catering as well.Here is what I got:Pad Thai Chicken | First, the pile of noodles just about to burst out from the to-go box. The flavor is just right, with topping of peanut, bean sprout, lime and some chili flake. I would definitely need to eat this on the spot next time.Lao Chicken Wings | Slightly fried chicken wings and well marinated. Crispy outer part and juicy within. Umami peek through with hint of fish sauce.Lao Sausage with Sticky Rice | The sausage is super flavorful. Mainly packed with pork with spice and vermicelli, topped with freshly chopped cilantro. The lemongrass flavor really peek through and I love it. Pair well with the sticky rice alongside and the chili paste.Thai Tea | I like their version of Thai Tea. It is less sweet than the regular one and have a hint of saltiness

I've had these folks on my radar for a while but never seemed to connect, until today - they were set up outside the Blank Canvas Barbershop on Broadway in Grove City, and I made a point to get down there.l went with the Lao sausage and sticky rice, nam khao, and papaya salad, and holy cow this is the real deal. The papaya salad was complex and actually really spicy, not "spicy" in the way you too often encounter with restaurants that don't want to scare off timid diners. The nam khao had a punch of what I think was galangal, and was served with lettuce and cucumber, which provided a nice crisp offset to the richness of the coconut fried rice. The sausage is likewise packed full of herbal flavors and was perfectly paired with the sticky rice and a thin sauce that cut some of the fattiness of the sausage.The truck staff did a great job of getting orders out - order ahead off the Street Food Finder app to save yourself the wait.

A hidden Gem In Grove City!! I Ordered, Nam Khao, Pad See Ew and Chicken Wings!! Nam Khao- Was Amazing!! It Had pork, pork skins, cilantro and green onion served with lime, cucumber, dried thai chili peppers and lettuce. It was So Light and Refreshing with a Nice Kick!! (Gonna try Spicy next time) 10/10 Pad See Ew- I ordered with Chicken... It Was Awesometastic!! It was Chewy wide flat rice noodles, chinese broccoli and eggs stir fried in sweet and savory soy sauce!! They also give you this little Green Sauce thats like a Chili Lime Something or Other and its amazing with a nice Kick!! I put it on everything!! Wings- Wings were Cooked to perfection!! So Crispy and seasoned just right!! The Chicken Quality was very good!! No mushy weird cage kept chicky hereI Thank This Place for Coming to Grove City and saving us from all these Chain Restaurants and Fake Americanized Asian Spots that the normies love 10 out of 10!!
