Lovell's Tavern

If you are looking for a small town American tavern that has some of the best damn wings this is your spot. I'm sure the regulars don't want this place to be discovered. As a simple man that loves great food I found this little place to be a gem in a bigger city. You had the regulars sitting elbow to elbow at the bar drinking and having a great time but when a keg needed changed they helped the young lady behind the bar. She greeted me with can I get you a drink? I replied yes she followed up with "would you like some really good food?" She wasn't lying. I ordered 10 wings (89 cent wings on Tuesday ) and loaded fries. You do have to pay a little extra for breaded but they were not thick breading it was just enough to hold the sauce. The loaded fries looked like some kind of curly steak fry and I'm telling you it worked!! If you don't care for loud music, lack of ambience, and locals having a good time then Applebees is probably more of your vibe. But if you want good people fantastic food and cold beer man don't sleep on this spot. I went last night and am considering going back today! Only thing is I wish the hot sauce on the wings was hotter.

You can find a much better bar or hole in the wall. Went twice, the second time we was playing pool and a drunk older gentleman tossed beer bottles at the floor around us near the bathroom. We Was not assisted, nor did nothing happen about the patron throwing bottles. The floor was mopped but not dried for us to continue our pool game. We left and didn't return.

the best wings and rueben in the city hands down don't let the outside fool you, this place is amazing.

Absolutely love this place. Friendly service and great food. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but always a winner for us.

some of the best wings in columbus. the place is very unassuming but don't let that stop you from going on. the staff is great and accommodating; the food is on point; and you get to do a little keno while you wait or eat. must try if you like wings and that is the only thing I have tried so far.

Best wings that I know of. Spicy Garlic is my fave. I get them breaded but it's a very light breading. Not like Roosters. Very good pizza and I love the Rueben too. You can split the Rueben with another person. It's big.

WHOOAAAA!! If you like chicken wings, this place is LEGIT. It is the definition of a hole in the wall bar. The customer service was fantastic (Kalee was our bartender and was great), the patrons were super friendly, they have two pool tables (they looked as if they were in pretty bad shape), electronic darts, a bowling and putt putt game, TouchTunes and Keno. Okay, NOW onto the wing review! HOLY MOLY! We have a contender for the top wing spot in Central Ohio!!! I ordered five Spicy Garlic and five Cajun Honeay (all flat and extra crispy of course). The chicken was super fresh, the flavor and spice were on point, and the wings weren't that greasy. My only complaint is that they could have been more crispy. I have said this before, if you have a good product, have good ranch! Make it house made! Oh yeah, and their Truth IPA was super fresh. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! The Spicy Garlic and Cajun Honeay: 9.4/10Ranch: 5.1/10For all of you who rave about Shaker's, Mean Mugs, Pastimes, Roosters and Blu-Willy's, trust me when I say that those places don't even compare to this place, and you need to make the drive to Lovell's to check it out. I take my reviews very seriously and I believe I gave Shakers a 5.1/10, Mean Mugs 8.1/10, Blu-Willy's drums 2.1/10 and their flats a 7.3/10, and Roadhouse a 9.3/10. Onto the BONUS Review: I tried the pizza since I saw a couple of tables order it. 6.5/10

Our first time based on the Yelp ratings. It's your basic dive-bar. Food was actually really good. Had the Reuben with a bag of chips. Came out hot, which was great. I would have given it 5-stars...but there was a 'regular' patron that was vaping inside at her table AND another that was standing by the pool table smoking. I'm not a smoker and just don't enjoy the smell while I'm eating.

An awesome and happy place to go to eat and drink. Prices are so good. Everyone is so nice and polite

Absolutely delicious!! My fiancé, friends & I are from Florida visiting and didn't want fast food, we found this place and thank goodness!! We will be coming here for every meal until we leave.
