Los Amigos

DO NOT COME HERE!We loved this place until they raised their prices. We ordered a kids quesadilla and rice and got charged $12.99!!! When I questioned the price I was basically told not to come back. There are better Mexican places in Lancaster.

The second star is for our server because he was so nice and friendly. I'm not certain how to describe the food other than I'm pretty sure it has to be comparable to what a dog tastes when he cleans himself. I really don't understand how this place is in business. The ground beef had an off taste and I'm sure the beans were dumped directly from the can to the plate. My boyfriend's meal was no better. His enchiladas lacked any flavor at all. Save your money and go to Taco Bell before attempting this Mexican food.

Taco shells and chips overdone to my taste. Some foods a bit greasy. Chili real o was a bit senior. Not my favorite but ok.

Always a go to spot! A lot of food for the price you pay! The workers are nice but service is usually very slow every single time other than carry out.

Sorry for not getting on here sooner but n dealing with some health issues. All is good ! My friend J and I visited Los Amigos on January 31@2:00 pm. We like to go early because it's easy to get seated where you want. Los Amigos was very much as rumors go in our small city. My gossip (?) chain said they were great. Anyway, we got there @2:00 pm and were greeted immediately by a very friendly hostess and she seated us at a padded both which was most comfortable! Nice low Mexican style music played softly in the background. You could converse without yelling. The table was clean as well as our cutlery. The menu is HUGE so be prepared to take some time to perusal six pages. Service was fast even though only one hostess/waitress. Ambiance is okay but could be spiced up with tablecloths and pictures which doesn't cost much. I decided on Taco Salad with Beef. And LOS AMIGOS LUNCHES are just right for my budget! Came here yesterday for lunch. We come here a lot!Menu: They have a a very amazing menu with so many amazing choices Our order: sizzling fajita plate with beans and rice, and a Troy Poyo with 2 sweet teas.Food: It tasted amazing as always which is why we eat here so often. Everything went so well together the flavors blended beautifully and it was seasoned to absolute perfection.Drinks: They have a very nice drink menu this visit we didn't partake cause we had other plans but I highly recommend their sangria.Service: The waiters are so amazing and polite always phenomenal service when we come. They treat you like family.Ambiance: It could be a casual, dressy, and family friendly it's an amazing place to eat and the music is amazing.Overall Experience: We keep coming back for more lol it is our go to restaurant here in Lancaster. I highly recommend it to people.

We ordered takeout to bring to Rockmill Brewery. This was an ok choice given the drive from Hocking Hills. The staff processed our order efficiently over the phone which was great as we were a bit rushed to get to the brewery. The food though was a bit of a disappointment. It could have been the dish I got (the chicken tacos) but there really wasn't much flavor in it (like, what you see on the ingredients list is what you get, and that's it). It could have been the ratio of ingredients, the sauce or the seasoning of the meat, but this was definitely on the blander side among tacos I've had. Maybe other dishes might be better!

We relocated to Lancaster from 20 years in Columbus this past July and Los Amigos was the first Mexican restaurant we tried since moving to town. I've gotten used to increasingly authentic Mexican food in Central Ohio in the past decade or so but this was among the worst Mexican I've had - ever. Bland, tasteless, barely warm. Nothing about the meal or the setting was even remotely appetizing and service was sketchy at best, even with a mostly empty restaurant. We will try the few other Mexican places in town but I can guarantee we will not be returning to this lackluster place. I'm better off driving the 45 minutes into Columbus where I can have my choice of excellent Mexican fare.

In town visiting customers and we stopped in. Very quick food order and delivery. They were attentive to us without interfering. Recommend them if you are looking for a quick bit of lunch while meeting with customers.
