Local Cantina - Gahanna

I placed a large order for my coworkers a month ago and was able to get enough points for a free taco salad. I redeemed it on the way for asap pick up and they did not disappoint. I arrived and the place was not busy. I let the host know I had a pick up with my name and it was already available within 10 minutes. I did have issues redeeming the free queso and the manager checked my app and saw the issue and still provided it to me with no hesitation. I got home and everything was hot and fresh. The size of the Taco salad is enough for a afew meals and maybe even 3 people. The chicken is seasoned and very delicious! Will definitely be back for dine in soon.

Food is good as always! The only complaint was the pouring of the Beer, please teach your bartender NOT to leave an inch of foam on the tap beer, I'm paying more for tap but im getting less product!!

My friend and I recently came here for taco Tuesday and local cantina did not disappoint! Be forewarned that taco Tuesday gets BUSY BUSY since tacos are $2.22 each. For the two of us we were quoted a 45 minute wait around 630/7 but we were able to grab a drink quickly at the bar. FYI this location is pretty small. We got sat about 20-25 minutes after arriving so not shabby! We knew what we wanted so service was quick. I had a weezy style fish taco and the Mac attack and they were delicious. I took a star off because my friend ordered cheese (I did not and didn't eat but a chip and one dip of it ) but we had to split the cheese on the bill. I would definitely return though but I would come around 8/830 when it's less crowded.

Our server was great. This was the only good thing about this place. Chips stale, fajitas grease bomb and no meat, beans cold and still had marks from the can, tortillas old. Did not have Thursday night football. This was a let down

Reviewing because something is missing. We visited last night and we have as a family enjoyed Local Cantina as long as it has been in Gahanna. I have a picky eater. On the kid's menu it shows Mac and cheese. My daughter ordered that. It came out in I am assuming a guacamole cup. And the portion was perhaps a half cup scoop. For $7 a half cup which is supposed to be a child's meal. And much to her dismay the Mac and cheese had jalapeno all through it. Jalapeno in a picky eater's food, please change this! Lastly, and this is on the chef. My chicken taco I know was dry old chicken. It had the shriveled, dried dark brown appearance of old chicken. I didn't eat it. Other than that, it's a fun place, service is nice and it's relaxing always has been but please!!!!! Someone get the Gahanna manager's attention.

We went for Cinco de Mayo, so obviously assumed they were going to be busy. We arrived and told the hostess that there would be 6 of us and were told that it would be over an hour wait. It was raining, so we decided to stay and wait for a table to be available, even though we watched over 3 parties greater than 6 leave at the same time we walked in. About 20 minutes later I received a text that our table was ready... we were told that the only table they had was outside (it was cold and raining) and weren't offered another option. There were 3 people up front who all had attitudes by this point. By this time we decided to stay and just drink plenty of tequila to warm ourselves up. This plan didn't work at all. The tacos were great and the drinks were great... the attitudes of the people in the front weren't. We will definitely go to another local cantina or a different restaurant next time.

Great tacos, especially on Taco Tuesday! Make sure you get the Hong Kong Phooey and the Nashville Hot Chicken. The Crunch Weezy style tacos are the best!

I liked the atmosphere and the view was beautiful. But the food took forever... and then the server brought me the wrong tacos and I had to wait again and it was cold and I had pick the tacos apart to put them in the right shell...It's ok if you were going to sit and take a long leisurely lunch...But 20 bucks for 3 tacos with a tsp of cheese on each and 2 small pieces of meat and fries...? Very dinky and it's all ala carte!Food and speediness could def improve! And put some meat and cheese on those tacos not just pickled onion! We notice!And I don't get the "serve yourself chips and salsa" sign...Who does that?
