Local Cantina - Canal Winchester

Ordered this on Uber eats and I got the fajita burrito and got the bacon burrito. This salsa was just not very good and I judge Mexican places based off the salsa. For some reason it tasted like beer. But the burrito was good. My mom really liked her bacon burrito. She said she never had that before.. thank you

The worst meal we order through DoorDash and it came stone cold, bag was open, and street corn was missing. Called local cantina and they couldn't even tell me if they cooked the corn or not. No one had a clue. They said if we wanted to come down they give us the corn but that was all they could do.

I almost always enjoy Local, no matter which location. This time is no different. The service was stellar, very attentive while not being intrusive.The self serve chips and salsa are never stale... always CRUNCHY If you have guessed, I love a good crunch. So, I love how accommodating they are when I ask for hard shells.... and the best part!... their birria tacos are NEVER soggy! Nothing is worse than soggy bottoms ;).Elote is always worth a try, if you're not stuffed from chips and salsa (make sure to leave room for )LC is definitely worth a try!!

Such great food!! Came with all the sauces and extra cheese on the side. Packaged well

FINALLY!!I've been watching this Local Cantina's build-up from the bulldozed ground, and their 4 month long setback was quite a bummer. I'm not sure what was the delay, but I am glad they finally opened last week. It's a cute spot on the ground floor of an apartment building - it's small, but this is the first LC on the far southeast side of town - so close to home, so I'm elated!We called for pick-up; ordered with the gentleman over the phone, which was efficient. Heads up: $2 Taco Tuesday is only for dine-in (duh Gwen!). Inside and their patio areas were both filled, a good sign of customer retention. The bar staff did a good job keeping to-go orders flowing from the back kitchen. I got four tacos - Grilled Chicken, Roasted Canitas, BLT, and Grilled Fish. All four of mine were cold soft shells, and even the guts were not warm. The tacos were decent - sustenance - but not what I'm use to. I'll definitely chalk it up to new opening jitters, and give them the benefit of doubt; time will tell. I love Local Cantina, one of my fav contemporary Mexican restaurants around town. That fourth star is for branching out - outside of the normal hugging-270-norm. Welcome to Canal, LC!

I want to like this place so bad...But it always takes forever to get your food, quality is average and parking is terrible. Salsa bottles on tables are almost always never filled and food is often overcooked.I am a local so I'll continue to support them, but local cantina does it better in many of their other locations.Hopefully in the future they will improve this location.

Local Cantina is good. Very straightforward "fun" tacos. They've recently changed their menu and added a few new items such as Birria tacos and Banh Mi tacos. I've always been a fan of the Crunchweezy and Cantina fish tacos! I ventured out on Taco Tuesday to stack specials with Happy Hour and $2.22 tacos! The unlimited chips and salsa with a $6 Mustache Ride kicked things off nicely! I was surprised that the Birria tacos were served with sour cream and not consommé. The Nashville chicken taco had little to no filling inside - more pickles than anything else. The Elote and Burt Reynolds taco were new for me and good! Overall, nice experience, loved sitting outside on the patio, and stacking food & drink specials!

I am very surprised that chips and salsa are not automatically included when ordering take out. All other Mexican restaurants around include these free of charge. I already think that Local Cantina is a little pricy, and this makes it even worst. I still love their tacos.

The bartender Maci is so friendly, the atmosphere is awesome and the food is delicious

The food was so subpar. The fish taco had literally one bite of fish. Both tacos severely lacked seasoning! The guacamole was the worst guacamole we have ever had! It tasted like someone just poured a bottle of lime juice over it. We couldn't eat it. The chips at the self serve chips and salsa bar were stale and also lacked salt! To be fair the chicken ranch quesadilla was good and our server was fine.
