Review applies to pizza only.I really wanted to like this place and read every single review on here.Counter to one review, I did not find the pizza too salty. It was cooked to perfection and adequately topped with all the items I ordered, except for one: SAUCE.Every piece had about a teaspoon of sauce, leaving the pizza essentially flavorless. It wasn't BAD per se, but every bite left something to be desired. If you're still curious, get extra sauce and it might save the pizza. But in all honesty, the "Hunt Brothers" pizza by the slice that you can find at many nearby gas stations is significantly better than this.

My wife and I stopped at this odd little building out in the middle of nowhere, because at the last moment she saw a small yard sign that said "Ice Cream". So we pulled off and found ourselves on a weedy gravel driveway in front of an old English cottage looking house. We went inside and found ourselves in a cramped entryway with signs, trinkets, and just stuff. Directly ahead of us was a freezer with the "Homemade" ice cream logo, and on the right at a 90 degree angle was another ice cream case with a small square counter between them to place finished pies.It was very difficult to find room to place an order or even take picture, but his small company must do a tremendous amount of business considering the amount of pizza they sold while we waited to order, it was nonstop! My wife got two hard scoops and I an apple pie soft serve. Both were served in large white Styrofoam cups and the cost $5 each. This may sound like a lot for a cup of ice cream but it's actually a bargain considering a "large" is nearly a quart! We did not sit on their patio, but in our car. The respite was delicious! If you are out tooling around and feel the urge for some great ice cream, (can't speak for the pizza) be sure to make Lionsgate your next destination.

This was my first visit to try their pizza after reading all the positive reviews. As the pizza lovers we are, We were EXCITED to try them out. The pizza/ice cream place is located in a cute looking mini castle. When I went in, the facility was quite cramped, with a very narrow space to walk up to the pickup area. They had 6 or 8 unique ice cream flavors that they said were homemade. It was quite a bit pricey. If I recall, a single scoop was like $2.50 or $3. It did look great! The lady that helped me, was SO KIND and polite! I'm thinking she was one of the owners.I had called in my order as I was coming from 40 minutes away. A man answere the phone right away, but the background noise was super loud on his end. He kept saying he wasn't able to clearly hear me. That wasn't a big deal though. I ordered a medium pepperoni and it was $14. I was a little surprised at the cost, given how small their medium pizza was. I did read they were a bit more expensive, but worth it. I opened the box when I got back to the car. The pizza looked SO GOOD! When food looks great, it generally takes FANTASTIC!When I arrived back home, I tried a piece. The pepperoni was DELICIOUS! They were overly generous with the cheese as well! I did find the sauce to be quite salty though. The crust was a bit hard as well. Since the pizza looked so darn good, I wanted to like it, however I was barely able to get through 1 piece, due to it's saltiness. I gave 3 stars for the positive points, but will not be going back for seconds. If you're looking to try a new pizza place, ONLY ORDER A SMALL first!

The ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars is because they don't answer the phones ... it's take out only and it would have been nice to call ahead and then pick up the pizza but I had to order them wait 30 min. It's just an older couple making the pizzas and they were super super nice! I ordered pizza to enjoy the band at the Blue Barn Winery.... I'm missing some of it but this pizza is worth the wait! The rest of my party will be thankful and appreciative for such yummy pizza! Great selection packed into this little place! So so much! Keep your eye out for this unique building because you'd never know it was a business until you drive on up! Come see!
