Updating this review to share that Lion Cub's Cookie's is still owning the cookie game in Columbus. There may be some chain cookie spots in the neighborhood, but why support them when Lion Cub's reigns supreme?I've been to the store in Grandview a few times but recently I ordered delivery for the first time. I was a little worried that they would get cold during the transfer, but that worry was silly. My cookies arrived about 40 minutes later and they were STILL WARM. I was shocked. They came in a mini pizza-style box with great branding and even a seal to confirm that they hadn't been opened during the drop off. This time around I got their classic chocolate chip, their pumpkin option, a chocolate Reeces, and a cinnamon one with white chocolate (which was the star of the show). These cookies are huge so plan to share, even if only getting four like I did. While they are pricy ($20 for 4 large cookies), they're worth it in my honest opinion. If you haven't tried these, you got to. There's a reason why they have expanded to additional locations

We visited Lion Cub's Cookies on a gloomy Saturday, but the friendly workers and massive cookies were the perfect remedy to brighten our day. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked cookies--a smell that promises deliciousness ahead.Their menu featured a mix of seasonal and classic cookie flavors, making it hard to choose! We opted for a 4-pack to sample a variety. While we were hoping to try their classic chocolate chip cookie, it was sold out, and we didn't have time to wait the 30 minutes for a fresh batch. Instead, we opted to try the cinnamon toast, pecan pie, and the gooey buckeye bomb cookies. Each cookie we tried was fantastic! These cookies are thick, indulgent, and very sweet--definitely meant for sharing or savoring in small bites. Every bite was packed with flavor and quickly satisfied our sweet tooth cravings.I'm already looking forward to returning and trying their new rotating flavors. Lion Cub's Cookies is a must-visit for any dessert lover in Columbus!

I stopped in to Lion Cub's with some friends after dinner on Friday night. The smell of fresh cookies hits you as soon as the door opens and the cookies themselves are on display for you to see. The staff were friendly, it was most of the group's first time (including me). I ended up choosing a Puppy Chow cookie to go. It was delicious! And still warm about 10 minutes later when I started trying it.

Absolutely delicious!!!! These cookies were so dense and full of flavor, without being too sweet or too much. They are served totally fresh and sooo tasty! They don't have a large selection of cookies, but they are all yummy! We got the strawberry shortcake and totally blown away!! The cookie was hard in the outside, but googey on the inside, and it had a whipped cream frosting so it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. The taste was amazingggg, we were drooling over this cookie. Our service was quick and the lady at the counter was so sweet. The entire shop just smelled so yummy! We definitely will be back to try more!!

Another great place to check out if you're around town. We got their chocolate chip, confetti, and the puppy chow cookies. All 4 were amazing, and the employees are super friendly. Be sure to check them out.

Reviews have been amazing for these cookies and I have had these before at a Yelp YES function and remember liking them... so I stopped in thinking to try a variety that had not had before. Warning this isn't the glowing review of most: wasn't super impressed with the shop. The clerk was friendly but talked too much and the shop felt.... Unfinished. Messy. Maybe that affected me, because after I ordered two cookies and I just wasn't blown away. These cookies are huge and have a lot of rise. The cookie I bit into (after I drove away) wasn't fully baked. It was Oreo stuffed but I couldn't really make out any taste (and no, I don't have or have had covid!). The other cookie just was also lacking any buttery taste. A chocolate chip cookie should have a slight taste of butter, and not overwhelmingly taste like playdoughish flour. My takeaway: It's a cookie that is truly novel and hyped up. Good the first time you have them but afterwards.... They are non spectacular. Give me a gold old-fashioned (flatter) toll house cookie that grandma bakes any day over these. Heck the entire batch would almost cost less too, Lions Cub is expensive. Two cookies and a small dipping container of butter cream cost me 10 +bucks. That is too expensive.

Lion Cubs has become a Columbus staple and for good reason! Locally owned and great products. Its a small store front that's essentially a bakery with an order counter.Staff has always been friendly and their cookies are very fresh. I'm a sucker for their chocolate chip but will say the rotating flavors have been a bit hit and miss for me. They make large cookies that are crisp on the outside and gooey in the middle (secret is they're slightly underbaked, think medium rare cookie). I think they're a great treat now and then but can be seen as a bit costly for a cookie.

I love these cookies they are so good and satisfying. The size of the cookie won't disappoint. I love chocolate chip, so of course that is what I purchased. I am in that area a lot so I will be back to try some of the other flavors. The staff was also super nice and helpful.

Absolutely phenomenal cookies! I have been using Lions Cub for multiple events, and they are always a huge hit. Staff is really incredible and my order has been ready to go every time I've placed it ahead of time. This is definitely a better spot than some of its competitors and it's a great local business in Grandview!

Crumbl was closed on Sunday so we tried this place. No one in line. I walk up. Ordered a chocolate chip cookie (the flagship cookie--except it was the last one, I felt lucky) and the cashier was about to put it in my bag when a random DoorDash lady on the phone said "I'm taking that one". I was like... no? Sell me the cookie please. The employee SMILED at me and said I couldn't have the cookie. Sorry. It was the last one and it would be 40 minutes til the next batch... the cookie was still under the glass display case?!? How can a DoorDash driver just claim it as theirs. What priorities.I walked out of there. I'm a paying customer. The DoorDash person was just standing around and talking on the phone--she wasn't in line. We drove like 15 minutes to get out there. Just an insane and kinda unreal experience as a customer. I went back in there after trying to comprehend what just happened. A manager made it right with a few coupons. Thanks. All in all, it was just one really bad individual experience for me. No clue if their cookies are good. Go ahead and try but Crumbl is massively superior and way better value; won't have to fight door dash minions or wait 40 minutes for a chocolate chip cookie.
