Great stop for some quick barbecue! He runs out of things almost every day so get there early to make sure you get what you want.My favorite entree: the beef brisketMy favorite side: potato salad & Mac n cheeseMy fav sauce: sweet sauceAll the meat is very tender and good. I liked trying all the sauces too. The sides are good. Must stop and try this place. Perfect for feeding a bunch of people or for a quick stop if you are in a hurry.

Wow, this is REALLY,REALLY GOOD BARBEQUE...!!!The brisket is fantastic. I tried the smoked meat "naked" first - without sauce. It was smoke-forward, tender, and absolutely delicious. Very excellent. The sauces are delicious and based on a 70 year old family recipe handed down from the pitmaster's grandfather to his father to him. I especially liked mixing the black pepper sauce with the sweet sauce. Great sauces. The sides are all house made family recipes. The vinegar coleslaw was refreshing and tasty. The green beans were nicely seasoned and delicious. The honey cornbread was tasty. For $13 I got more food than I could eat. For the quality this is a bargain.Jay is the owner, operator, and pitmaster. He's a 3rd generation pitmaster and barbeque joint owner, and definitely knows his way around a smoker. He's also a really nice guy.I'm quite sure we will return again and again - definitely worth stopping if you're anywhere east of Columbus. The rig is permanently located at 10961 Hebron Road - 1/4 mile south of I-70 on the way into the town of Buckeye Lake.Highly recommended. Dad and Grandpa would be proud...

Decided to drive out to Buckeye Lake today to checkout Lindsey's SmokeHouse Barbecue. Met Jay the owner, he has been in the business for 3 years. He is smoking with hickory, cherry and apple words. Decided on the two meat dinner (brisket and pork) with baked beans, Mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. The brisket and pork were super moist and tons of flavor. Couldn't stop eating the meats. The Mac and cheese was made with elbow macaroni noodles and some smooth creamy cheese. This was the non-baked style. The baked beans were made with a nice thick sauce, so Yummmy. The coleslaw was vinegar based and the veggies were nice and crispy. The potato salad was a mayonnaise based with a nice blend of onion, celery, pickles and egg. Super smooth and tasty. Don't miss out on the opportunity to check this place out. Great food!!!!

We were driving into Buckeye Lake and my husband stopped for lunch. The brisket sandwich was awesome. The sides are all housemaid. This is really good barbecue - absolutely the best we've had around the whole lake - by far.I can't wait to go back and try Jay's other smoked meats and other homemade sides. We would have tried more, but we were too full to keep ordering...!
