Columbus icon for almost 50 years. This upscale dining experience is fantastic time after time. The service is impeccable and personal, the menu is diverse, and the presentation of the meals is on point.Be sure to have reservations, it's a small venue consistent with the villages south of downtown. The menu lacks any inexpensive options but the portions are reasonably sized. We dine at Lindey's at least annually and always look forward to it!

Still one of my favorite restaurants. I was here for a work meeting- upstairs, they have meeting rooms to teams. There's also a separate bar upstairs that can be used by teams (if service is purchased). I ordered lobster bisque and shrimp angel hair pasta. This is the best lobster bisque I've had in the city. The service was great. And the meeting rooms are nice sized. Look forward to going here again.

Restaurant; Daughter and I came in for brunch, super cute restaurant loved all the decor and the intimate setting.Located right in German Village make sure to get a reservation. Food; started with the yummy beignets to accompany my delicious mimosa. Main dish was the Eggs Benedict YUM. Cant wait to go back. Service; friendly and outgoing.

This restaurant is a true gem in Columbus. Beyond its rich history, the food, atmosphere, and customer service are on another level. We thoroughly enjoyed both our appetizers and main course. Here's a little story about fine dining in Columbus, Ohio, where tradition and excellence come together seamlessly.Sue Doody, founder of Lindey's, was born in Dayton, Ohio, in 1934. After teaching public school for several years, she ran a small catering business and held cooking classes in her home before launching Lindey's in 1981, located in the historic German Village. As a divorced mother of four with no formal culinary training, Sue grew Lindey's into a Columbus, Ohio dining landmark over the next 43 years. Since its opening, Lindey's has consistently ranked among Columbus' Top 10 Restaurants.Sue's passion for people and her commitment to genuine hospitality have created an exceptional dining experience in Columbus. Today, her legacy continues through her sons.

If you have one meal in Columbus, have it at Lindey's. This German Village staple has been around since the 80s, and for good reason! The restaurant is stunning - beautifully appointed with amazing art pieces. The service was wonderful! Our waiter, Andrew, was incredibly patient and helped us navigate through the extensive menu, offering suggestions along the way. Finally, the food was spectacular! Our table started with the burrata and carpaccio - they were both excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak frites and stole a few bites of the shrimp and lobster risotto. We finished our meal with some of the best creme brûlée I've ever had. Bonus points: dedicated gluten free menu!

Always 5* and glad to say it was today as well, for Sunday Brunch. Our server Elena is a pro, well trained, efficient, personable. FYI. Reservations are not applicable for the patio. That's first come first serve. At 11am there were 30 people in line. Valet is free, tips only. We had the Eggs Lindey's (always excellent) and salmon dish. The Bloody's are perfect. Top 5 restaurant in all of Central Ohio for over 40 years.

The best part about Lindey's is the upscale atmosphere and service: the restaurant is housed in a historic building that exudes both comfort and luxury. Their happy hour is excellent (but only available at the bar, which is a small space). Generally flavorful well-prepared food, if a little expensive for what it is. I went for lunch band ordered the egg Benedict special, which ended up being surprisingly dry (eggs weren't very running and I could have used more hollandaise sauce, as the croissant base was over toasted and hard. But the drinks were excellent (love their espresso martini) and it is always a good time.

We popped into this adorable enchanting garden type setting post dinner. We sat amongst the beautiful people in the garden as we sipped our Chardonnay. And bopped to some of the greatest hits. Even though we did not eat here on this night, we vowed we would come back and have dinner in the actual restaurant. It's so beautiful. so chic and happening.

Lovely service and ambiance! My partner and I came here for our anniversary dinner and it felt so special. They have a dedicated GF menu for those who are gluten-intolerant. We got the steak frites (GF) and shrimp angel hair entrees! Both were delicious. Highly recommend for a special occasion dinner spot. Would also recommend booking a reservation in advance, as this is a popular spot!
