I can't even put into words how horrible this school was to me, so I'll list my reasons.1. There is a huge bullying problem because the students have been taught bias and hate, and when teachers and admin are told, they do absolutely nothing.Personal Evidence: I was horribly bullied one year. It got so bad to the point where (SH AND SUICIDE TW WARNING!!) I cut myself constantly. I tried to kill myself twice. So many times I tried telling people, and when they didn't brush it off, they trusted the lies of my bullies. They told my dad, too, these lies. So, my dad, a caring Christian man, hated me for so long. He almost left once because he hated dealing with the "monstrosity" I had become. 2. They are NOT friendly towards challenged, ill, disordered, or (non-physically) disabled students. They WILL kick you out if they don't want to deal with you.Personal Evidence: LCA doesn't have gifted programs. They don't indulge in 504 plans or IEPs, which can be very difficult for students who need special help. I met a woman whose son had gone to Liberty Christian. Her son had autism, and she told me that they had kicked him out for "not wanting to deal with him." I almost didn't believe her when she first said it, but she insisted. I later found out this was very true. I have generalized anxiety disorder. For a while, my family and counselor have also suspected ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I've been going through testing processes. I also have sensory issues, and I often need help or need to do certain things, and I get a lot of anxiety attacks. I have very impulsive behavior. During my time at this school, it was very difficult for me to deal with a lack of help or guidance here. The "guidance counselor" just told me to "stop" when I did something "abnormal." This whole experience was difficult for me, and as my parents were looking for other schooling options that will support my needs, they kicked me out before we had the chance to even change schools. This ruined my family, and made me wish for death. 3. The teachers and staff are biased, disrespectful, homophobic, transphobic, and try to force conservative views on children.Personal Evidence: To be frank, I'm gay. I am a gay female. A sapphic. Also? I have *pronouns*. HAH! Imagine that, conservatives! /joking. Anyway, that matters not even that much. Just listen to me for the sake of your children. I've hid this for years, and it's been painful. I've felt out of place. I've been taunted and bullied. I saw a male student once get ridiculed and lectured by a teacher for wearing a stick-on stud earring, the teacher telling him he'll be like James Charles (A feminine gay man, who is also a pedophile, mind you.) and become gay, or a girl. He'd "get his gender changed." This is honestly disgusting to say to a boy who was only 11 or so at the time. One day, my secret finally got out, and I was suspended for "making students uncomfortable." It's not something I can control. Just like a boy might have a crush on a girl, so might I, but it's not in my control. You can't just say no to your biology, and that's something LCA doesn't understand. My class was once lectured by a teacher during the 2020 elections on how Trump was probably the right candidate. Mhm. Sure. Things like this bias made me rethink my faiths. "If Christians are like this? Why would I be a Christian? Everyone is so hateful and judgmental." 4. The curriculum is awful.Personal Evidence: The curriculum is a homeschool curriculum, for one. Everything is out of a book. This offers no creativity whatsoever, and limits students' abilities. I remember going to public school for the first time after going here my whole life, and we were given a creative slides topic report on a historical person of our choice! I didn't even think that was possible. We did so many things on our own. The teachers made us work. It was sooo much better. It was enjoyable, and we learned independence. In fact, I *still* need my friends to sign up for things for me because I was never taught any sort of independence. Everything is so free outside of LCA because we have our own independence. Also, a lot of the curriculum work is crazy. It's 80% review from previous years. For several pages at the beginnings of the books, it's some nonsense like "Which book is holy? The Bible, or this math book?" (I'm not even joking. This was a real question.) Everything seemed to be tied to God in the strangest way possible, and always left out important topics that are considered false in traditional belief. 5. Lastly, it doesn't seem like those here are even Christian.Personal Evidence: The systems seem to be selfish. They force worldviews on students. The students are all so mean when anyone is even slightly different from them. The teachers are cruel. They looked for things to get rid of me. I got a call home for braiding my hair once. The food is so expensive. For a Christian school, they aren't very kind.

My girls have attended Liberty Christian Academy since preschool. They are in the 5th and 3rd grades now. They look forward to going to school everyday. Every teacher and staff member we have encountered go above and beyond to help each child. The Administration truly cares about parents and what we want to see. They ask for feedback continually throughout the year. I could not be more happy with the education they are both receiving.

This is our third year at Liberty Christian and we could not be more thankful for this school. Our son is excelling in all of his classes, he's doing more of a variety in his classes vs. what is done in our local public schools. Just the fact that standardized testing isn't the sole focus of every thing learned is enough for me. More than that, the staff and administration care deeply for your children and their families. We love the Christ centered focus on education, but it ends up teaching so much more to the kids. Being kind, standing up for one another, building lasting friendships, these are also so important for a child's education. We love this school so much, I never have to fear sending him off to school in the morning, because I know he will be taken care of.

My children are ahead of their grades academically. In elementary, they have had a ton of options for after school activities in sports, academics and drama. The most important thing is this school is filled with love. The high schoolers love the preschoolers, the teachers treat the students like they are family. It would be difficult to find such a loving atmosphere at any other school. I love this place and feel so blessed to allow my children to be a part of it everyday.

So I pick my child up from school today as she is practically in tears and sobbing saying,"Mommy, I'm hungry". Of course I'm immediately wanting to know why (especially given notification of a lunch credit just this morning. Mind you I pack my child's lunch ,but today she wanted to partake in pizza day). My child advised me the school told her she didn't have any credit so they were going to give her ONE SLICE OF BREAD AND ONE SLICE OF CHEESE. Oh, and an extra treat, WATER!. Immediately my blood began to boil. I remain calm to get more details. A friend of hers then told me that she tried to give my daughter some apples b/c everyone saw how upset London was( this whole incident was done in front of the entire school in the cafeteria.) Get this though, they told my child she couldn't have the apples. Then her teacher tells her that, " If you want to keep crying, then you can go to the office and call your Mom". . I prayerfully hoped this was some sort of an exaggeration. I immediately called the school and spoke with the principal and what would you know, this was VERY REAL! To make matters worse, they tried to justified and acted as if they did me a favor by giving my child ONE SLICE OF BREAD, ONE SLICE OF CHEESE and WATER. Mind you they have all of my contact information and email me on the regular. Please feel free to pass this information along and forward to whomever. This is unacceptable on so many levels and they need to know that children, especially my child should never be treated in such a degrading way.Continue sharing and leave comments on their Facebook Page. I will not stop until I get justice for my baby !!!!

Probably the most unchristian group of kids I've ever been around. I've had a consultant relationship with this school for 9 years. Every single year they rank the lowest in character and integrity. I would never recommend this school to anyone.

I love liberty I've been going here for 2 years now the teachers are great although some may be tough on you it's just because they want the best for you. Liberty has great athletes that try their hardest on the court even though the scores may not reflect that I can unsure you the athletic program at liberty is great I've been in it since I've been here and I love every part about it. The academic program can be challenging but it just wants you to go full steam with everything you need for the next grade up because it is one full grade higher than average schools

Very happy to have found a Good Christian school. No comparison to public(last year). My kids love, love , love it there. Academically, I know they have accomplished tons to be up to Liberty level of education. The staff is very nice , they pray everyday with the children. Tuition is reasonable.
