Labor Day weekend brings us something else to celebrate vi' vi' fell in love with Marietta's Ohio St Bistro all over again and the 2 fresh new young faces who greeted us Mi' Amor !!! Ooh la la Cheri Amor. Blonde Bombshell Barbe' ala' cart a favorite for sure! Deserves a warm Welcome to our humble abode mi' casa' and all that. Wi' Wi , o I' yes, si' si' mirabelke ? Mia' Bella!!! I was transfixed by the sound of the sirens song , not fluent enough but you get the idea? "Mi' En' Dra Monsieur ". . And let's not forget to mention our lovely new Christian the brunette side kick with lashes for days, for her as well I would do anything . Alas my food was great , estate remains top rate and I will be returning soon. A widower many years now, it's not often you find yourself in the company of someone who converses willingly, candidly & freely. Life has been transactional, everyone takes, needs , wants something from you, it's the way of things. I look forward to seeing the beauty of promise of change to fallow now that they employ promising women . Professional, well educated, and capable of running the hospitality sector single handed.

I was in Marietta Ohio last week and had a great dinner here. Sat on the patio over looking the Ohio River beautiful view. Our sever was excellent very efficient and knew the menu well. I had the meatballs and crab cakes appetizers for my meal. Lots of crab in the crab cake and the meatballs were very tasty.

This place is absolutely amazing. I met a client here for lunch after the recommendation from a colleague. The ambiance was quaint, sitting right on the Ohio River. We were greeted by the chef whose descriptions of lunch specials were mouth watering. This was the best meal I have had in the greater Parkersburg/Marietta area. Top notch place for a meeting or delicious meal!

First time here tonight. My wife and I sat outside with a great view of the river on a lovely spring night. We shared the watermelon salad. She had the lobster ravioli and I had the mushroom risotto. Both were great! We had the tiramisu and vanilla crème brûlée for desert...everything was fabulous! The owner stopped by the table to talk to us too she was super nice, the wait staff were friendly and efficient on what looked like a pretty busy Monday night. We have found our new favorite restaurant in the Marietta area!

Stopped for a birthday lunch and we were greeted outside by the waiter. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was tasty I had the turkey, Brie, apple sandwich, hubby had Cajun chicken kale soup, MD crab cake sandwich & pasta salad. He said for a WV crab cake it was pretty good. The soup had a little spice which was nice and the pasta salad was good. Thank you

An adorable place filled with evidence of history. History of architecture, decor, menu and importance. The sidewalk seating was picturesque and relatively cool on a very hot summer evening. We opted-out from inside dining ... the seated clientele felt territorial almost, like it was "their" dining spot and we were exposed as tourists. The staff is very properly uniformed and well trained though, in our case, still green. We were not offered bread as the other tables were and my request for a second glass of wine went unanswered for so long I finally canceled it and asked for the check instead. Trip to the restroom was interesting... nice decor once inside but the hall was quite cluttered with boxes and equipment and felt dingy. The food was okay. Three out of four dishes were labeled as such and I had two apps both very simple and easy to prepare, each however, felt lacking in one way or another. Prices were appropriate, thankfully, and all in all it was a nice experience but we felt an overwhelming sense that the potential wow remained deliberately hidden.

What a great local restaurant! We were in town for the weekend. The riverfront location is romantic. But, we were seated next to the kitchen and got to talk with the owners' niece who was filling the waters to help out her Aunt and Uncle. She introduced us to owners and we enjoyed talking with them. Excellent seafood, and that's hard to do in a small town in Ohio.

We always enjoy our meal at the Levee House whether lunch, brunch or dinner! Service is friendly. I usually will call for a reservation for dinner and brunch. Always enjoy the historic setting along the river. Warm and welcoming establishment. Outdoor seating is relaxing for brunch. Nice wine selection. Large portions. Will be back soon!

The view is amazing! The service here is always prompt and friendly. The food is always delicious! It is a must try when you are in our beautiful city of Marietta!

Food was absolutely amazing! Passing through town on the way to Charleston WV. Steak perfect crab ravioli scallops perfect steamed clams perfect. This place is a hidden gem. Can't wait to come back in the spring and dine by the river!
