Lan Viet

Wow! The steak banh mi is incredible. Fresh crusty bread, succulent soft steak, crisp veggies. I moved here from DC and spent months searching for a halfway decent Vietnamese and Thai places. I found this little sweet spot for my Vietnamese fix. Can't wait to try their bun. Also- they are generous with their meat portions!

Outstanding bahn mi's here -- probably the best in Columbus. We have tried LAN Viet a few times and never been disappointed. My go to Bahn Mi is their pork bahn mi which is quite large and a great deal for $10. Their rice and noodles bowls are also quite good. I look forward to trying their specials next time.

Delicious shrimp pho with a couple of summer rolls was the perfect dinner tonight at the North Market. This broth is slow made to perfection. Yum!

I tried Lan Viet for the first time for lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed the food. I ordered the shrimp rice and noodle bowl. The shrimp was delicious. The bowl could've used more spice and flavor. When I asked for extra sauce, the worker wasn't very pleased when handing it to me. I'm not sure if it normally costs extra? Anyways - the wings were so good and had a great crunch. I would come back!

Located in the Bridge Park North Market this stand grabbed our attention since it was serving banh mi and pho. We ordered the traditional banh mi and the shrimp pho. They came out quickly and had wonderful flavor. The jalapeños were so fresh and provided a nice spicy kick.

This place I hit up in while I was shopping around North Market. It looked very clean and caught my eye right away because I love Pho. I got the steak Pho and it was good. I like my steak raw and to cook in the broth, I don't think they had that option.

Wanted a quick but good lunch. Worried this would be crazy at noon, and there was a short line, but it moved quickly and the food was up in 5-10 minutes. I got the steak noodles. Tons of tender, tasty steak, perfectly cooked noodles, rice under the steak so it absorbed some flavorful goodness, super fresh veggies. Yum. Yum yum yum. Filling, tasty, healthy. Also got a summer roll- huge, with noodles and lettuce and shrimp, held together surprisingly well, even dipping into the sauce. Also got Vietnamese coffee, because why not have the good stuff? Strong and sweet. Friendly, fast service. Plenty of menu choices so I had a hard time deciding. The usual pho and banh mi, plus noodles and a few other things, not just the usual items you see at Vietnamese places. Excellent quality for the price.Parking in the free lots, or some free street parking- found a nearby spot at noon on a weekday, though they were rare.Definitely returning.

Delicious, authentic Vietnamese food - and healthy option in this food hall! The chicken wings are great - my dining partner said they may be the best she's ever had! We also split the pork banh mi and special Mama Lan pho - which were both great and flavorful. We got pho to go for my in-laws at home, which they thoroughly enjoyed! Definitely worth a visit!

As a Viet person, Lan View wouldn't be my first choice. It is nice that it is located in two different locations. I typically get Lan Viet when I'm in the Dublin area and am craving it. It's not horrible, but it's not anything crazy. $15 for a bowl of Momma Lan's Pho Dac Biet is pretty steep. The pho flavor is there, but the noodles are too mushy and overcooked sometimes.I tried the summer rolls also and again, I get it if I'm craving it and in the area. The summer rolls seem pretty fresh with a typical peanut sauce. Nothing that "wows" me. I've never tried any of the other items on the menu so I can't comment on anything else.

The food is incredible.(even though i just watched someone bring back food that had hair in it) I love the noodle bowls. I have been going to the downtown location for years and was excited that Dublin was going to have a location because it was closer to my home. However I find that the locations are not the same when it comes to customer service . I have never been charged 0.75-$1.00 for packets of Hoisin and sriracha in all the years I had been going downtown including my most recent visit last week. Though, Each time I come to this location, I am charged . I was just charged $0.75 for one packet and hoisin and one packet for Sriracha. Talk about nickel and diming your customers.
