Went to the deli today and was very impressed with my food. I had the Italian sub because it is the special on Tuesday, and I am cheap . It was wonderful, they certainly didn't skimp on the meat or veggies and there were plenty of banana peppers to give it that good flavor, the lettuce tomato and onion were all very fresh and it was finished with a good mayo (Duke's?).My wife had the chicken tenders and a side salad. The chicken was very lightly breaded but had a very good fried chicken flavor. It is awesome watching this deli grow into a "go to" place as it evolves into something great. As far as portions, I had trouble finishing my sub and my lady has leftovers. Well done, I am so impressed!

I am a sandwich lover, the sandwich was one of the greatest things ever created and I have consumed tons of sandwiches in my lifetime. The type of place that I go for a great sandwich are local sandwich shops, because I believe the local shops put more love into their sandwiches than the major chains do plus I just love supporting small businesses just like Lake Life Deli & Dogs. I came across Lake Life Deli & Dogs through being a Door Dasher, I have picked up a few orders from them and I thought it always smelled amazing when I picked up my orders. So my wife and I finally decided to check them out and order ourselves some food from them, we order from inside the restaurant. You can also order food from them from all the food delivery services like Door Dash and Grubhub. The first thing I liked about Lake Life Deli & Dogs was the decor of the restaurant they had a nautical theme throughout the whole restaurant. They had a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors as well. I especially liked the two boats that were displayed on the back wall of the dining area really highlighted the nautical theme. So once I was ready to order I asked one of the employees who's name was Ayden what he would recommend, he said that the most popular sandwich on their menu was The Nautilus which is a sandwich with chopped ham, roasted turkey, salami, white American cheese, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions and Italian dressing on it. The Nautilus was a really flavorful sandwich that has a lot of my favorite types of meat on it. The sandwich was quite filling and was reasonably priced, I would recommend it. I was able to taste all the different types of meats that were on the sandwich they didn't over power each other. My wife order the soup of the day, which was Lobster Bisque. Lobster Bisque is my one of her all-time favorite soups, so she had high hopes for the soup. She said that the soup wasn't bad, but that she wished it was more creamy than thick. She also order a classic Philly Cheesesteak Sub which she said was very tasty. I also noticed that they had board games for their patrons to play while they ate or waited for their food, which I thought was pretty cool. The customer service that they offered was good I especially love the customer service that Ayden gave because of his recommendation and his attitude was top notch. My wife was slightly disappointed with her interaction with one of the employees, she said that they had a standoffish attitude and felt like they didn't care too much. Lastly if you are the type of person who loves a souvenir to commemorate your experience they offer two different long sleeved t-shirts with funny hotdog people on them they were pretty cool looking. With all that said my experience as a whole was a good one and I would recommend Lake Life Deli & Dogs to everyone looking for a great local sandwich shop.

Chicago dog was awesome, only complaint is the bun is too big for my mouth. Don't worry, knife and fork did the job. Phil had tuna salad. Flavor was good. He wished he'd ask for rye bread Service was remarkable even thanked me for telling them that woman's restroom needed towels. Cute place, bright colors and definite Portage Lake feel.

Just a little deli has changed hands many times since it used to be captain Nemos. The food quality appears to be OK, but the pricing appears to be a little high. You get that little Qwaint belly feel, and with the new out front deck you have a place to sit outside and eat and overlook the busy state Route 93 Manchester Rd. come and enjoy the amenities of a small town.

My husband wanted a deli sandwich so the hunt was on. Found this place on Yelp. Order at the counter, pay at the other end and food delivered to your table. There isn't a ton of seating but I noticed a lot of carry out. The Reuben was simply delicious! Thick slices of corn beef. Ample dressing. I would have liked more sauerkraut but that's just me. House made potato chips and a pickle come with your sandwich. The chips are very thin and crispy without the burned taste. Delicious! The only thing holding me back from 5 stars...I didn't like how people were hanging on the plexiglass barrier talking to the cook and leaning over the food. I'm sure this only happens with tall people but it grossed me out. The lake pictures in the wall were very fun. A little attention to the tables would up the appearance appeal.

I ordered a Ruben, fries, pickles, and diet coke. It was $26 which included 15% tip. The tip request comes up for this order that is a and pick up at counter service. I find it annoying to add a tip request to a location that is like McDonald's as far as service. Folks take the order and you wait for it to be prepared and pick up your bag of food. The Ruben had about a teaspoon of sauerkraut on one side of the sandwich and none on the other and alot of thousand Island dressing that made it soggy, and a below average amount of corned beef. The fries were good but the y offer generic ketchup for a 3.99 order of fries. Again, even McDonald's uses name brand ketchup. The fried pickles were overcooked and not good. I won't be back. My grandkids did live their Mummy hot dog kid meal though.

I got the Reuben and a side of macaroni salad. The Reuben was the size of a flattened down grilled cheese sandwich. The macaroni salad was such a small disappointment portion that was served in a 2-4 ounce plastic container that I would expect ketchup or a condiment would come in. They need to step up the game on the portions for the prices they charge if they want to survive. A simple side can make a difference. This doesn't do it.
