Laguna Mexican Street Food & Ice Cream

SO good! Everything is super flavorful and good prices, too. They use really nice seasoning on their onions (on the tacos) which really stood out. The birria had one of the best consommés I've tried in awhile. There are sweets too! (I didn't get any this trip) I swear it had all of my favorites in one place!! Friendly service and a cute space with tables for dining in. I will definitely be back any time I am in the area.

Such a hidden gem! Delicious street tacos, elotes, plantains, and incredible raspados and homemade ice cream. The staff is lovely and our food was ready in minutes. We will be back, and soon!

I've lived relatively close to Laguna for years and just now checked their yelp reviews and thought, "I have to try this!"I gave it 4/5 because it is pretty darn good food, but I'm not a crazy raving fan for a couple of reasons.#1 issue is price to value ratio. I'm sure they have had to raise their prices like everyone else but I found it pretty expensive for what it is. Had each item knocked my socks off I could have been a 5. But they didn'tTacos pastor x2 (3.99 each)Elotes x1 (4.99)Chips/Salsa x1 (3.99 I think....)Diet coke x1 (not sure)Tacos: These were fantastic. Soft corn tortilla, moist pork not overseasoned to let the flavor shine, and fresh grilled onions still with a bit of crunch. And some kind of green sauce from the heavens above. The price for these I can get over and will return for the tacos alone.Elotes. aka Mexican street corn on the cob. They did a nice job on the coating/toppings ratios but it seemed just a little bland. Maybe needed some salt. The biggest issue I had was the corn was boiled and I'm not used to boiled corn any longer. Every bite would send basically blank water into your mouth. If they grilled the corn it would be 1000x better. Chips/Sala: The chips are homemade but mine wasn't warm as others described. The salsa was tasty. Again, kind of overpriced to me.Staff were amazingly friendly and the customers were steady over the lunch hour. I'll be back for the tacos and to try other styles......and to try the tortas, ice cream and iced coffee, but prob skip on the elotes and chips to save a few $$.

So good that I, once again, forgot to take pictures of the food before I ate it all. That is always the sign of a good meal.Located in a nondescript strip mall. The inside is cheerful and clean, with several small tables for dine in. You order at the counter and they bring your food over when ready. The street tacos were some of the best I have had in Columbus and the guacamole is stellar. Tortilla chips are freshly made and served hot. This sounds strange I know, but the highlight of the meal was the vanilla iced coffee. It is a good thing this place is just a bit too far from home, or it would be a daily stop in the summer for a cold and creamy coffee drink. Cannot wait to try the homemade ice cream in warmer weather.

Perfect street tacos. Very authentic. Pastor, carnitas, and chicken were all spot on. Great burrito also. Definitely recommend.

I've been here 4 days in a row. Their tacos are so good, I've tried different meat each time. The mango Lagunada is like chili con mango in an ice cream treat, and it comes with a tamarind straw which is my favorite.I'm sad because it's Sunday and they are closed. This is my new favorite place.

Awesome place with friendly staff and great, authentic food. The price is very good for the portion size you get and the service is always fast.

Their mangonada was my absolute favorite. Considering I had gone in shortly before the shop closed, the workers were all really nice!

Amazing street tacos!! We had Chorizo and Birra sauce was delicious even the Elote and Augua frescas were refreshing definitely coming back!
