Charged twice for one meal then was called a liar when I spoke to the manager to inform him. I used to go here all the time, will not return

I haven't eaten here for several years but noticed they had a drive through window so I decided to order. I tried for 10 minutes to order online and after it not working called the restaurant. I ordered a chicken fajita Quesadilla, chips and cheese dip. I was a little disappointed with the chips, which I tried on my drive home. I had fasted for 22 hours, I can't believe any food was disappointing. They just didn't taste fresh and they were really oily. I was excited for the quesadilla. It came with beans, rice, lettuce and sour cream. This is the item I order from my favorite Mexican restaurant in Wapakoneta and I figured this would be similar. It was not very good. There was maybe a teaspoon of beans, but it was so liquidy, it was hard to tell. The rice was good and I'm not a big fan of rice. The quesadilla was just a soggy mess. I ate a little out of the inside but not much. I ended up just throwing it away and having some cereal for dinner. And something minor, though I found annoying. When they gave me my receipt to sign, they had circled Tip several times with a black pen. I always tip, even on carry out orders but I found the circling of it annoying. So much so, I almost didn't tip. I doubt I'll be back to this location because the food just wasn't very good which is disappointing.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Like lots of small-town Mexican joints, it plays up the whole theme--decor, sombreros, etc. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I stopped going to Mexican restaurants about a year ago, because too many experiences were not good. Frankly, my fiancee and I make a better taco night at home. We tried La Palma last night, and we were left unexpectedly impressed. The salsa was fresh and not too spicy. One could see cilantro in the salsa. We got tacos, and thoroughly enjoyed both the shredded chicken and the beef. The $3 frozen margarita special was great too. Very reasonably priced. Good service. Nice patio area that looks out on Route 68/Main Street.

How can a family have 2 restaurants that are so vastly different?! The one in urbana is thriving and the food and service is always great. Our son ordered take out from this location yesterday and it was absolutely horrible! The carne asada taco meat was charred to the point of being almost inedible. Flour tortillas instead of being made with 2 corn tortillas, street taco style. No salsa verde or pico with it. A bag of chips with a tiny cup of salsa for 5 people. I went through leftovers today trying to salvage what they couldn't eat. The steak fajitas were absolutely horrible. And broccoli in a fajita? The Chori pollo was flavorless and very little cheese. I picked out what I could to make some decent burritos with lots of doctoring up so as not to throw away that kind of money that was paid for this sub standard food. Thank goodness I am very knowledgeable on cooking authentic Mexican food. Had we not all been sick I would have put the effort in to make a decent meal. When no one answered the phone to take an order that was Devine intervention. My son should have left it at that rather than calling back later. 10 different Mexican eateries in Bellefontaine including food trucks. How this place stays open is beyond me. I work too hard to pay for garbage. Only place worse than this place is Del Taco and not by much. This is family owned. Have some pride in what your family serves. There is absolutely no way that these folks cook like this for themselves. 14 year old boys coming across the border to support their families back home know how to cook better than this. Step up or shut the doors!

All the food we have tried here is awesome: Taco Salads, Fajitas, La Gringo Fajitas are the best! Everyone is so friendly. Food is always hot and we never have to wait on service. Highly recommend.

Small town midwestern Mexican food...so, don't expect much (though I suppose it could be worse...). FOOD: The salsa takes like marinara. The lunch buffet was edible (chicken fajitas and carnitas were passable). SERVICE: Our server was barely interested in dealing with us. He had just five tables to serve, and people were mostly just going to the buffet, but I guess this was just too much work for him today. He was annoyed that I asked about the buffet (I'll save you the trouble of bothering him...just go and grab a plate). VALUE: It was about 7 bucks for the buffet including drink. BOTTOM LINE: Don't bother.

Super fast and VERY friendly service!! Pretty standard Tex/Mex, with a couple of surprises (SHOULD have tried the molcajete, or maybe one of the two or three options with pineapples...) but was just here for a quick late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday and just went with a steak quesadilla, which was fine. Mr. M&P enjoyed his taquitos and ENORMOUS Negra Modelo draft!! Why do LARGE drafts in Mexican restaurants always make you look like you're drinking out of a vase?!? Happened on this place while out on a Sunday afternoon road trip "up north..." Looks like it used to possibly be a Frisches/Big Boy (still has the drive thru!!!) and there's tons of space for big groups or smaller tables... They've REALLY out-done themselves with the décor!! The booths are all beautifully hand-painted wood from Patzcuaro, Mx. (not cheap!!), there's a lovely talavera sink in the ladies room (wish I could have grabbed it and taken it home with me!!) and lots of colorful artesania/knick-knacks scattered through out without being too tacky... I lived for five years in Mexico and while this place (and others like it) are far from "authentic" or whatever food snobs are pretending to think is "real" Mexican, it's more than good enough for a "homesick" quick fix!!!Buen Provecho!!

I like this place. I meet my family here (as Bellefontaine is halfway between our houses). This place is never overly crowded in the afternoon. The staff is real nice, always smiling. The food is what you'd expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. Spacious seating, room for lots of people.

Went there for Father's day dinner, flies everywhere and was charged twice for one meal. I noticed this when I got home I called the store and the manager said they never charged anyone twice the whole time he has worked there. I was basically called a liar and told nothing would be done about it. I have pictures for proof. Was waiting on them to make it right, now I will never go back

this is absolutely disgusting. I ordered food from this establishment for me and my little girl a week ago when arriving to my house, I got the order brought it inside started to separate everything and discovered there was bugs. Yes bugs in the bag crawling in and out of the dishes absolutely disgusting will never eat here ever again and highly recommend the public do the same or at least be very cautious of your food.
