The restaurant is very clean, especially the bathrooms. I check there first at most restaurants I go to. The staff is very nice they greet you with a smile. Easy to read menu and your food comes out quickly. I had the Carne Asada steak taco that were hot off the grill and they had flavor. The hot sauce is "HOT" but it had taste. Those that like hot with flavor will love it. The cost was very reasonable.

We recently discovered this little gem and I'm so happy we did! We went on a Sunday evening and there were probably 5 people there, total. I think people are still in the process of discovering it. We couldn't find any menu online, which was a bummer... but did appreciate the extensive drink menu! This place has everything you can think of... including baked potatoes with taco toppings! The ambiance is relaxed. There are a few murals around the restaurant and behind the bar! We were immediately greeted and sat in a booth. The waiter that took care of us seemed pretty irritated by our presence, but I think it was just a slow day and they were bored because he perked up pretty quick. He asked us if we wanted any drinks and starters. We started with cheese dip (of course), a Adios mixed drink, and a purple bruja. The cheese dip was so tasty... it does come in a really small dish, so be mindful of that if you have a bunch of people in your party! The drinks were delicious! If you want to feel buzzed immediately, order the adios. I think everything behind the bar is in this drink. I ordered the purple bruja with coconut rum and it was absolutely delicious! They do pour pretty heavy, which is always great! We also tried the amaretto sour cherry and the crownberry. I honestly think the amaretto sour cherry was my favorite! It tasted like kool-aid with amaretto. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my wife ordered the Texas fajitas (chicken, steak, shrimp). The meals came out super hot and were all very fresh! I loved how many peppers were on my plate! The actual rice / topping plates were a little disappointing. The sour cream was warm and there was probably a teaspoon of guacamole. Unfortunately, my wife didn't receive her shrimp. When we pointed it out to the waiter, he apologized and let us know that he would bring some out. I'm not sure what the issue was, but he proceeded to bring out 3 tiny shrimp in a queso bowl. My wife laughed and continued to enjoy her meal. She was obviously disappointed that there was not more shrimp. We ended up paying close to $80 for 4 drinks, cheese dip, and 2 fajitas meals. I give it 4 stars because the food and drinks were both absolutely delicious!

Nice, clean, food was good, only gave a 4 as it's our 1st time here. Just stopped in out of blue due to going to a place in the area. Would consider coming back again and a tad warmer and sit on the outside patio.

The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful - likely most did not speak English - doesn't bother me - just made communication slightly more difficult. Server was fluent and made good suggestions. The Día de los Muertos inspired decorations worked in this restaurant. Food was quick, very hot, and delicious - had the Mar y Tiara - steak was cooked perfectly - but more telling were the shrimp - tender, not over or under cooked - they were perfect. Cheese sauce I wasn't sure about but it was delicious and worked. Son had Carne Asada - slightly overcooked but thin cut Carne Asada is almost impossible not to cook well done. Would definitely come back!

It's been a minute since I made a post, good, bad or indifferent, but I felt compelled to remark on this business. I give the ambiance a 4 out of 5. Food 0 out of 5. I have NEVER had "Mexican food" that was bland, like it wasn't seasoned. So I thought maybe it was my particular plate, but no my girlfriend's food was bland as well. Have you ever been to a resort in the Bahamas or Caribbean and instead of the native music they play pop stuff like The Beach Boys and the Righteous Brothers? Well that's what this felt like, catering to people who not native. This was not a good eating experience. The presentation was WONDERFUL! But the food tasted like it was colonized. It's a no for me.....but you may like it

I'm not sure how long they have been at this location but I'm glad I found them. The atmosphere was very nice. It's on the smaller size. They have a lot on the menu. The chips were nice & warm. Could have used a wee bit more salt on them. The salsa could have used a tad more spice & seasoning also but it was still tasty. I got the jumbo margarita & the fried tilapia fish with rice & a avocado salad. DELICIOUS! I'd definitely will recommend & go back & "try" not to get the fish again!

Best Tex-Mex restaurant on the east side, maybe in the whole city. I highly recommend, the food was excellent and the ambiance was quite good.

We were in the area and looking for good Mexican. We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It was 6:00pm on a Saturday evening and the place was dead. The service was quick and friendly. We really only wanted appetizers and margaritas. I think it was $7.50 for a regular frozen margarita. It was nice that it came with a slice of orange and pineapple. The quality of tequila was really not good. Maybe appropriate for the price, but overall it was not a good margarita. We also ordered quesadilla appetizers. I think they were $7 each. The quality was pretty average. Just diced chicken in a tortilla with flavorless cheeses sauce on top. The bathrooms were very clean. Another table had a birthday party and they really seemed to make a nice effort to make it special for them. We won't return.
