I didn't have high hopes for this place, and unfortunately, it still managed to disappoint. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with mushrooms, and it was way too salty. On top of that, they didn't even cut it--it came out as one whole quesadilla, which made it annoying to eat. The chips that came with it were super stale like they'd been sitting out for days. Overall, not a great experience.

Our service was terrible. We hardly seen our waitress and had to ask other waiters for things. Come to find out, our waitress was talking on the phone in a bathroom stall. The only stall with a diaper changing table I might add. The restaurant entrance smelled of sewage from the bathrooms.And the food was way less than spectacular. The chips were at least warm and tasted good. The salsa is just blended pico de Gallo. The taco meat honestly tasted like a similar flavor from Vienna sausages. Crazy I know lol but that's what it reminded us of. The tortilla for a quesadilla were tiny and the steak was extremely rare. Not to mention the menu was extremely bare compared to other Mexican restaurants and the prices for what you get were ridiculous. My family will never return. I have nothing good to say about this place.

I'm reading all the 1 and 2 star reviews and scratching my head. We've been going here for several years with no real issues (except a chile rellano that was cold in the middle, but was replaced immediately with a hot one). I learned my lesson about going on a Friday evening... the place is always packed and just too busy for my comfort. But during the week, especially for lunch, it's one of the best places in town. I highly recommend their chile rellanos. They are literally the best I've found (except for one made by an authentic Mexican friend, which is who turned me on to them), even in New Mexico! My husband loves their refried beans (more than any other local Mexican eatery). We've eaten in as well as called ahead for pick up orders. Service has never been a problem, except, as I said, on the Friday evening when they were insanely busy and there was a line of customers waiting for tables. But even then, my server was prompt, courteous, and friendly.

One star for the margaritas. That was literally the only good part. The worst service I've ever experienced waited over ten minutes to be greeted another ten to get a menu. Had to ask for everything several times and it always took forever to come out. Food came out quick but it really wasn't good. On the plus side I did not get food poisoning.

What happened? Used to be my favorite Mexican food. My dinner was very bland. And the interior of the restaurant is decaying badly. Paint peeling everywhere and stuffing falling out of the chairs . Dirty rags, spray bottles and brooms in plain sight near the tables . Just a bad experience .

I had an absolutely delicious meal and great customer service.The salsa served with chips was fresh and tasty. I had steak fahitas. The portion size of the entree and sides was generous. The steak marinated so it was tender and flavorful. I know you don't typically go to a Mexican restaurant and have sweet tea but this was the best tea I have had in years. The waitstaff was friendly and accomodating. I was so glad I stopped into this spot and only wished I lived closer so I could visit often.
