Kyber Run is one of my favorite golf courses. It's long and a bit on the challenging side but is still fun - even for double-bogey golfers like me. The course is always well maintained. The greens, t-balls and fairways are almost always in great shape. We were there for what turned out to be our final round of the season in late October. It was an exceptionally nice late fall day and the grounds crew was working hard to "blow the leaves" off the fairways and greens. As I've already said - this is one of my favorite courses.

Not ready for the season; undergoing reconstruction.Did not honor the price from TeeOff. Should have been $25, and they made us pay $30 when we got here. Could have played a nicer course for the same price so that is really disappointing. If you advertise a price you should stick to it. No questions asked.

One of the more interesting layouts among central OH courses. I think water is in play on at least 16 holes. You'll find a few very easy holes balanced with a couple very tough ones. They are working very hard at rebuilding the bunkers and most are finished and look very nice with soft sand in them. They've changed the original putting green to a chipping green with a bunker, and added a new putting green closer to the #1 tee. They've got a nice party deck out back if an outing interests you. The green fees are on the high end for this type of course- I imagine they have to be with all the continual work they've been putting in. The big downside- the greens. They look pretty nice and well maintained, I and the folks I play with there just can't seem to get true rolls on them, be it morning or afternoon. I'm hoping someday they will roll true and I'll move this to 5 stars.

If you're going to drive all the way to Johnstown, why not play Clover Valley or The Links at Echo Springs? Both are significantly nicer courses for just a few dollars more. The course itself isn't awful. It plays fairly long and offers a challenge, but is never in what I would consider "great shape." Tee boxes have weeds growing in them and low-lying areas are often swampy. In addition, the rangers are generally brusque and petty about cart rules, but for whatever reason, seem to tacitly allow slow play and/or fivesomes. You're bound to run into a traffic jam right around the 15th tee. Take my advice and try one of the other two courses first. If you happen to end up at Kyber, you may very well enjoy it. I'm sure many people do. It will be a while before I end up back there, however.

My new favorite. They must have done some improvements since 7/25/11. I have played lots of under 40$ courses. Mostly hot deals on Golf Now. This one definitely go to if you in the area. Got me 20$ Tuesday special with the cart. 7 minutes away from my jobsite, I'll be back for more.
