Kroger Food and Pharmacy

Just had to drop by to write that this store is still the worst grocery store I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. Today during my visit on a Saturday at about 6:50pm I noticed one of the self scan clusters on one end of the store was shutting down. That seemed pretty early to me, as the story was very busy. I went to the other self scan side and found a line backed up down one of the shopping aisles.I went down to the other self scans that were shutting down and found one was still open and asked the employee there if I could use it because there was a large line on the other side of store holding people up. The employee did nothing but say "these are closed" even as I tried to explain what was going on and that their store was backing up. "These are all closed," was all I heard. I have no idea why the store is closing down half of the checkouts before 7pm on a Saturday night in the first place, but it was great to see the employees have no interest in remedying the situation so they can shut their post down and not be bothered to do anything.I sincerely hope another grocery chain moves into Pataskala in the near future so the residents arent forced to give this garbage business their money just because it's the only store in town.

It usually takes forever for the pharmacist to pick up the phone. As a provider, I have called this pharmacy several times for new or refill medications for my patients. It usually takes at least 10 minutes for me to be able to be connected to the pharmacist. I did call this morning and waited for 8 minutes then the phone was routed back to customer service. I expect them to do better if they want to stay in business. I have never experienced this with any other pharmacy including other Kroger pharmacies.

Has anyone else noticed how rude these employees are? I mean this is worse than trying to get a thank you from McDonald's. I was just about run over by some woman trying to stock drinks about 1115 Sunday morning. When I asked her to consider the people that sign their checks, she laughed and passed me in oncoming traffic. Sooo rude. Giant will get my business from now on. Come on Kroger. No wonder stock is dropping.

So disappointed in the deli at Kroger today. Why ask how I want my items sliced when you are going to slice them how you want. The ladies in the deli today spent so much time complaining to each other. One mentioned the sliced should be oiled before they open tomorrow. Instead of agreeing the other women said I mentioned that back in October. Than they were sharing the "good" slicer. So it was taking twice as long for everyone. I was trying to save time by getting my deli items at Kroger today and it took almost 30 min for a pound of turkey, a pound of ham and 1/2 pound of cheese. There was only one person in front of me when I arrived at the deli.

This is a really good Kroger, bigger than the one on E Main in Reynoldsburg or most in the East side of Columbus. It has both sushi and an olive bar. I know, I know the olive bar has a reputation for being overpriced but I have three words for that: stuffed grape leaves. They are awesome! Granted they are smaller than what you would get at a Greek restaurant but it's by the pound though! This Kroger is one of the marketplace ones so it has a variety of kitchen accessories and such and not badly priced. Some things are much better at Target, Walmart but the latter is kind of a big time commitment, cannot get in and out and the experience is something I avoid unless I have no other choice. Why four stars then? Well I hate the self checkout when it's a big shopping trip, and at this location you have no other option past 8 PM which is typically when I do my shopping. Do wish they would make it later, there are enough shoppers to justify it most nights. So had to rearrange the day and make fantastic time to avoid it, and I made it! :)

I drive by multiple grocery stores on my way home from work. I go here because the checkout lines are fully staffed. I don't like spending my free time waiting in line, which is the case at most groceries stores on the east side. These guys just get it. Love the beer selection and great deals on food. Friendly employees. Kudos Kroger.

I have always had good service here at Kroger's. I come here alot, live right across the street. Its clean, I like that their is a starbucks inside so you can grab a drink while shopping.

So before this experience I would've rated this kind of middle-ing, just a Krogers you know? But my roommate was looking for bratwurst hamburgers that were frozen but hadn't seen them in the case. We asked two different employees both of whom didn't know where it would be and directed us to another person. I would've given up at that point but my roommate stayed focused. We went to the front where we did finally run into the store manager who first called a meat employee on his wallow talkie and the meat employee said where the brat burgers were located and it was the same place my roomie had already not been able to locate them in. Instead of just re sending us to do a better job looking he went to look himself He came back with both varieties or the brat burger with a smile and no sign of irritation at the inability we had to find things that had apparently been right in front of our faces.A+++++

If I could give negative stars I would, from the Kroger click list to the pharmacy this location is terrible. The new design is inconvenient and inconsiderate of those who are disabled or unable to come inside to get their prescriptions. Someone up the chain clearly Isn't doing their job. Do not waste your time going to this location.

The pharmacy has been pretty unreliable for a few months now. If you're in a situation where your prescription requires you wait until the last couple of days before refilling, there's a good chance you're out of luck. This holds true even if they tell you over the phone that your prescriptions will be ready before closing time (which is earlier and earlier each month)
