If you're looking for a luxury apartment in Columbus, look no further! After checking out several apartment complexes in the area, I chose Kenyon Square for the amenities and the customer service.I was immediately impressed by the modern, clean apartments and how much the staff was invested in explaining everything about living here (some places could care less about taking the time to explain). The property also has so many amenities like a pool, rooftop patio, movie theater, and even Starbucks coffee in the lobby outside the gym.The staff is so great and the office is open 7 days a week so if you ever have any questions or want to rent the theatre you can go down any time and help is right there!Summary: Excellent Location, Amenities, and Service

Not worth the headache...Although it appears decent on the surface, it is quickly apparent that this ill-managed, horrible quality, and dysfunctional apartment complex is not a place you'd want to live in. The apartment unit itself was average to decent, but everything else from the amenities to the management personnels' ability to handle simple issues or complaints was 1 Star or below. They repeatedly screwed us in the two years we were there. When a water line broke, all tenants were without water access for 2 days with no communication or assistance from management. A literal fire broke out in a unit on our floor, once multiple firetrucks came and put it out, there was no check in on our well-being or even an email to tenants letting us know what happened and that everyone was okay. There was never notifications letting us know when packages arrived at the front desk, they would be back there for weeks before we had to hunt them down ourselves. Management couldn't even locate a smoke detector on our floor in need of new batteries that was beeping every 30 seconds for the last 9 months we were there. Before we moved in we read reviews and thought it would be a quality place to live, but after moving in, we noticed they created a new Yelp page because their old one had so many 1 star reviews and negative comments. Lastly, if Kenyon Square is your only choice and you are forced to live here, make sure to put all communication with management in writing. We were very proactive letting them know our move out timeline via email and they were flexible with our notice exception, but the final notice and exception was unfortunately made over the phone. The month after we moved out we noticed another months charge of rent and when we inquired they said it was because we didn't give notice in time. Now we had no leg to stand on since it wasn't in writing and was only a verbal agreement. We had to pay rent for an empty apartment.

Living here 18 months was a HUGE MISTAKE!! If I could do it again I would have chosen The Ravines at Westar. This apartment looked nice during the tour but that's where the quality ended. There were too many problems to list them all here, but I included a few:1. The cleanliness of the apartment was questionable when moving in. This didn't bother me enough at the time to complain - that is until they tried to take half the security deposit to cover cleaning/painting costs. More about that later...2. Many of the dog owners do not pick up after their dogs so you're constantly stepping in poop while walking out to the sidewalk or to take trash out. 3. You pay a monthly fee for trash removal yet you still have to carry the garbage an 1/8 mile to the dumpster (or worse yet you if you live in the 2nd building you have to load the leaking garbage in your car to drive over). 4. The dumpster gets full quickly and then the trash piles up out on the sidewalk baking in the sun all weekend until the waste service comes to clear it. 5. Worst of all, the management company cannot be trusted. They violated the lease agreement twice: The first was by not returning our security deposit within 30 days as required by Ohio law. The second instance was charging us for "heavy traffic carpet stains". Nowhere in the lease does it require us to clean the carpets at move-out. This is clearly just a scam to make the tenant pay for normal wear and tear maintenance on the apartment. I've lived in apartments for over 15 years (due to moving frequently for school and work) and this is the first I've ever not received a full security deposit back. Make sure to take photos when you move in and be prepared to fight to get your deposit back!! Good luck

I've been living here 4 years... The area is convenient but the apartment complex has took a major turn for the worse over the last couple of years. Fridge went out all of our food was damaged and the response was a $50 gift card. Multiple car break in, apartment complex doesn't do anything about it. They don't care about anything but making sure rent is paid on time. I would refer this complex to my dog. Packages stolen on several occasions.I am not renewing my lease and I deeply regret not moving when these issues first happened. This complex isn't worth the hassle!! Run far away from them and don't look back!!!

Tony and Ken, the maintenance duo stars, are my heroes. They have come in and fixed things numerous times in a timely and courteous manner. It's easy to see that they're very experienced and not wasting nobody's time.Seeing them around in the community and simply having a conversation give me great joy as well.

Daughter lived her for 4 months. Doing Co-Op and needed a short term lease. Looked great from outside, close to work, talked a mean game.Took over 2 weeks to get Wi-Fi because their capabilities were inadequate. (She needed Wi-Fi for work due to Covid and work from home policy at times) Everytime she, or i called, it was like talking to a wall. No one knew anything and acted like I was crazy. Burned up Hot Spot minutes in very short order. Visited once and was appalled with the smell of Mary Jane in the halls, screaming and yelling from one apartment and the total un-cleanliness of the hallways. Moving her out was the best part of the 4 months. I can't even give the place 1 star. It would be a Zero for me.

So many reasons to not live here...My fiancé currently lives there and I'll be moving in two months before our lease is up. First off, when we both toured the apartments they made it seem so nice and showed you a unit that is perfectly clean and exactly what you want. But they don't actually tell you what unit you have until the day you move in. We wouldn't have chosen these apartments if we would've have known what area of the building we would be moving into, but no one made that clear prior to us moving in. When he moved, in the apartment was not clean and the management said they just barely had enough time to vacuum the carpets (which were not even done very well). There was and is still so much dog hair that we are finding from the previous owners. Managements response was a $25 Visa card, instead of something helpful like a free carpet clean. There is a strange smell in these apartments that we can't figure out what it's from and have tried everything to cover it up.The parking situations are not pleasant either. There never seem to be enough spots and the parking spots that are available are so tiny and make you wonder how many people have door dinged your car. The last straw that made me leave this review was that we had a package that was left at our door and someone ripped into it and stole what was inside. You'd think you'd pay enough money to live in a "nice" place that this kind of stuff wouldn't happen. So disappointed with Kenyon Square and how amazing they made it look in the beginning. CANNOT wait to move out in the fall. Such an unfortunate experience so far.

I would give less than 1 star if possible. If you love a view of the highway and having to constantly listen to traffic- this is the place for you! So many reasons not to live here. More packages get lost than delivered... the system is horrible and packages that are delivered after hours sit outside for the night. Dog pee and birds are in the stairwell and go unaddressed. The rent is way too expensive for what is offered. The wifi is trash and disconnects all the time. The rooftop may look nice but don't let them fool you- it's closed all the time for "repairs." There is no system with the garbage so you have to walk outside across the whole facility to throw away your trash- and the compactor is usually broken anyways. After claiming to clean the carpets before move in, I found dog treats all over. The floor also smells horrible (which I have complained about and gotten no resolution) and the ventilation sucks.

Ugh.... poor response to issues but quick with an excuse. Management tends to send out unsympathetic and very direct emails justifying their deficiencies.
