Oh my was that a load of meat! I ordered the Italian sandwich and the meat was quality grade stuff. It was literally pilled high like Smokey Bones meat sandwiches you see.The tomato on the sandwhich was huge, so I believe that they use like beefeater tomatoes, because those are the biggest grown tomatoes I can think of. Accompanied by their sauce with the meats and cheeses. I should have expected that when ordering an Italian! The last time I ate an Italian it was the leaner kind from Subway. Not the hefty meaty portion I got here! If you're looking for quality meats sandwiches look no further than Kenny's Meat Wagon!

Excellent food and excellent service is what you will find at this truck. I was served a delicious Italian sandwich with high quality thick cut salami and pepperoni, fresh veggies, and sauce! The sandwich comes with beef also but I requested it without! The sandwich was flavorful with plenty of sauce. I am typically not a meat eater but really liked this truck. I have heard there is a vegetarian sandwich they serve but it was not being served the day I ordered- I would love to try that one too!

Damn this was good! I got the Italian sandwich without mayo - very meaty! The bread on the bottom was soggy which freaks me out texture wise but removing that, it was a delicious sandwich. You definitely get your money's worth and won't leave hungry. I'm happy I was able to try this food truck today and hope I see it more in the future!

I have food truck anxiety in that whenever I come upon a food truck for the first time, I get nervous that I won't see it again for quite some time, and so I order way more food than I should. I also spend way more than I should, but in the case of Kenny's Meat Wagon, $14 for two sandwiches didn't break the bank too much, but it did almost put me into a food coma.I've had several chances to check out Kenny and his wagon, but I just never gave it a chance. Today was that day and what a great day it was. I could smell the grill from a ways off, especially the Chicago style Italian beef he had sitting there marinading. The menu offered for regular options and two specials, one being a Veggie sandwich. I had to figure out how to try a bit of everything without overdoing it.I went with the Italian sandwich, which had a thick slice of Genoa salami and pepperoni on it and a pile of the Italian beef covered in veggies and spicy mayo. This.. should have been enough for me, but I had to get the Corby Dog too which was a 1/4 lb hot dog topped with pulled pork and homemade BBQ sauce and purple slaw. All the meats are local, and the awesome bread that it comes on is too.I downed that Italian sandwich pretty quick even though it was quite a bit of food and started to get the meat sweats. It was so good, but Kenny's not messing around with his meat, and you'll probably want to take it slow. As far as the Corby Dog, I saved that for later. About 15 minutes later. It was absolutely delicious, and the BBQ sauce mixed in with the sweet peppers and grilled onions was really tasty.I wanted to get this review out here before I fell asleep at work, because the food was just so good. I see now why he won an award at the Columbus Food Truck festival. He's also selling OH Chips! If you find him, you have to give it a try. The Facebook and Twitter pages are updated daily, so that'll be your best bet!

Had the chance to try Kenny's Meat out in the middle of the street in my neighborhood one day.....wait that sounds bad..... KMW was one of the vendors we had the pleasure of having at this years CrestFest block party (that's better). Was delicious!. Really a very well crafted sandwich. They had a really unique Carolina-style sauce that seemed to go great with the pork. Was made up quickly and to order. I'll be looking out for this truck again!

I like these guys but i can't go higher than three stars. I picked up the italian beef by the paper and juice ran all over my clothes. This is after the bottom of the bun soaked up all it could and was total mush. The flavor was nothing special but not bad. Got a very tiny order of smashed potatoes for $3 and after tip the sandwhich and potatoes were $16. Again, I like them and 3 stars says a-ok and they are.

You may be asking yourself, what does this thick bearded man with a meat wagon have, that the trucks don't? Word to your mother... good meats. Kenny keeps it simple with what he produces, and you won't be overwhelmed with option, after option, after option. His simplicity and consistency has won him a shiny trophy that he proudly keeps on display within the corner of his cart. He stands there with his grill craft and works his magic, dunking meats into marinades, sizzling beefs and cheese onto the cook tops, and toasting delicious ciabatta while he's at it. You can watch it ALL go down. No mystery here, just a master craftsman at work. The product may appear overwhelming in text, but is delicious and will make all meat lovers rejoice. He also carried OH! Kettle chips, which is some local love right there, that I can whole heartily appreciate. It was so massively delicious, I could not even finish it. Raves and cites of exclamation were heard all around.Kenny had saved our poor starving souls... on a Friday in late Spring. Heck yes, I would search him out given the chance. You should try him at least once, granted you don't have any qualms, or dietary restrictions to all things meat. Prices range from $8-11 on the main goods. No beverages are offered.

It's not good that i want to go back to the KMW food truck and get another sandwhich. I tried it for the first time. DELISH! Got the loaded taters and buffalo chicken. The fresh bread, the time taken to prepare it, the deliciousness. 5 Stars, Kenny!

I'll be very brief here. if you see this cart, and a portly bearded man behind it, you are doing yourself a gross injustice by not eating right now!this is way outside of my comfort food, but I can't speak enough about how tasty everything comes together. I don't even like Italian subs but the execution with the super thick slices of meat and a massive heap of more meat with a spiced mayo.... I'm actually writing this review in a coma!believe me-- you need this!
