This food cart is operated by a very nice and considerate guy. It was very hot on the day we went there. He was concerned that we were standing in the sun. He insisted that we should wait in the car and he brought out the food when it was ready. The falafel side we ordered was very good. I couldn't tell if they made them fresh there or they were store bought. The gyro was a disappointment as the meat lacked the typical authentic flavor. The sauce was way too thick. They excel in the chicken wings. I highly recommend getting the chicken wings which were seasoned with very good spice. I didn't even know that fried chicken wings are part of their cuisine. The baklava was okay. I actually find it not sweet enough. I can't believe I said that because most time this dessert is too sweet. The portion size is very good for $3. Yes, they raised the price on their menu items too but the menu on the truck doesn't reflect the new pricing. This seems to be a thing here in Columbus.

To me, the quintessential carryout finger food is middle-eastern cuisine. Pita sandwiches, falafel balls, wings, fries! Had to try out the top-rated middle-eastern food truck in Columbus. We ordered several gyros sandwiches (a deal at $6/each), wing meal combo, and a side of falafels.Surprisingly, the poorest part of the order were the gyro sandwiches. Size was good but the gyro meat could have used more searing, plus the yogurt sauce was actually too thick and copious. The wings and falafels were the stars, both appropriately moist and crispy. Sauces for both were tasty too. 4 folks could eat well for under $40. And the guy manning the truck and cooking was very nice. This place is definitely worth the trip and $$s.

This is another good food truck. Kabob Time is close to some good bars. You can grab something before you go in. It's also a nice stop when you're getting gas. The menu features many typical Middle Eastern things. All of the menu is on the side. A lot of items are a pretty good price. The combo meals are a good deal for all you get in them. A falafel appetizer is about $5, and that's the cost of most of the other appetizers. The falafel combo is $8.50 and comes with rice and salad. It has some parking spots next to it. It's located in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station. You will have time to get something in there after you order, and you might even have enough time to pump gas too.

The food is good. It is not mind blowing but it is good. They are open late, which is nice. The last 1.5 stars are essentially for the service. Farouz (all apologies if I have mistaken or misspelled your name) is a pleasure to associate with every time I come. He is entertaining in his own quiet way, and he holds down a good business. I hope they stick around a long time,

I have been hitting this truck for two years about and the service is always top tier - the flavors seem to have been honed in over the winter for that perfect springtime gyro - what a snack! Thanks,Rex

(Review in the time of COVID-19)The nice thing about food trucks is it doesn't really matter if there's a pandemic on. There's lots of outdoor space to physically distance while waiting for your food, and you'll have minimal contact with customers and/or servers.I've been to Kabob Time a few times before the pandemic, and most recently during. There have been a few changes to the menu; the lamb kabobs that I used to get are gone (to my disappointment), but some additional menu items have been added, on the small whiteboard (to my happiness). The food is pretty solid Middle Eastern food; not the best in C'bus, but good enough to make me happy. The hummus was surprisingly good, among the best I've had; I didn't expect that from a food truck, but here we are. Tasty, with just the right balance of olive oil and lemon. The fried cauliflower with pomegranate sauce is particularly nice, and not something I've found elsewhere in the city. The pomegranate sauce was tangy, and a little sweet, and worked perfectly with the cauliflower. In these tough times, supporting independent businesses really matters, so please give Kabob Time a try.

You mean to tell me it's 2 in the morning and this man is out here serving customers? I am so honored to have a great meal from Kabob Time. It's a little food truck nestled next to the Sunoco on the corner of High and Hudson, at least for tonight. What I enjoy is how welcoming the truck initially looks when you see it, it's orange and has this big, bright open sign and the music is fun and lively. I was coming from hanging with friends late until the morning and I neglected to have a proper dinner that night. But to see this place just waiting to serve was a welcome sight. A variety of Mediterranean dishes waiting to be had! They had lamb souvaki, beef and chicken platters, gyros and more. I had a taste for some lamp souvaki and the falafel bites with the tzatziki sauce. The food is made fresh! You can tell in the taste. And you can see the ingredients just waiting to give your mouth the flavor party that it needs. Great service, the server was really nice and quick to get you your food.Anytime is a good time for a fresh kabob but I would say get there before there's a line. They might run out! Four stars for awesome food so late Into the night and great service. I will be returning!

I finally decided to stop into Kabob Time in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station at Hudson and High St. The guy running the place was super friendly and inviting and excited for us to try his food, so that's always a plus. The girlfriend and I both went with gyros and thought they were really good, although I wish they had onions on top of the tomatoes and lettuce, but that's just a small grievance. I really enjoyed the sauce and the pita. We also got grape leaves here as well which were tasty, but they're a little pricey at $5 for 6. However, the gyros start at $6.99, and that's a pretty standard price for a gyro around Columbus. Columbus has a pretty solid Mediterranean/Greek restaurant selection, and this truck just adds to it. I wouldn't say I was blown away or that they're doing anything out of the ordinary, but the food is good and at a good price. If you're bar hopping around Old North, this is a great spot to grab a quick bite and soak up the booze.

It's no secret that most food trucks pack a lot tasty amazingness on 4 wheels. Kabob Time is no different . So good. I talked with the owner a bit while I waited and he was so kind and personable. I learned that he makes everything himself, including the pickles, which were perfect. There's a variety of items, per food truck-ness everything was pretty much something that you could eat and walk with. I got the chicken sandwich which was a lot of food, and the flavors and textures were everything. I also had an order of grape leaves, which was a large order and these were vegetarian! They have plenty of meal options that can be, or are vegetarian! Ps it's in the corner Shell gas station lot. Don't let that deter you!
