Junior's Tacos

Food was AMAZING. Fresh Mexican tacos, fresh guacamole at a super affordable price. Tacos are only $2.50 on Tuesdays so definitely a great deal!!Vibes were a little off. Not a lot of people there, very loud music and a little too much for a chill Tuesday. Would love it if they had more laid back music and maybe cleaned up the outside a little- less bar vibes and more casual eatery like it's neighbors across the street! It IS dog friendly though so big plus in my book. Will probably get takeout next time- food was SO good!!

I have tried lots of food trucks, and Junior's Tacos are better than many of them. It has kind of a simple menu. There's burritos and tacos with customizable toppings. It's kind of slow and not the best cost. They're still way much better than Taco Bell for sure. I had a burrito with vegetables. It was about $8 for only the burrito. This is kind of steep as other trucks can include a drink and sides for this. It was pretty good though. The hot sauce was incredibly good. It was serious hot so you need something to drink as well. They have Mexican pop which is cool.I would go to Junior's Tacos if they're at a festival. It's not quite good enough otherwise. They could be if they had menu prices in line with other trucks.

Love it. Some of the best authentic tacos in town. Especially from a food truck. Great price, just the right amount of everything.I got the torta, like I usually do. Steak, of course. Very good and huge. Again perfect serving sizes. Not too much and not too snall. Awesome after shows and/or tossing a few back.Very nice, friendly and funny employees. Always under $20 and we get back change. My man sometimes surprises me with a hot meal after he goes to a show and he knows I'm up.He usually gets the tacos. Steak, of course. The only thing that varies is the number he gets. Or the sauce he gets on the side. Today 4 tacos for him and a torta for me, under $16.00. AMAZING and delicious.

Tried Juniors Tacos for the first time today. It took about 15 minutes for them to make our 8 tacos, so I assumed he was cooking them during that time, but after we got in the car to take them home, my daughter says, "Thats strange. Ussually when we get tacos, you can smell them in the car!" Hmmm...I touch the box and its cold. We get to the house five minutes away, open the box, and pull out the tacos and see they are completely cold. Did they cook them while we were waiting, or just pull them from a fridge? Completely tasteless. Then I pull out the side of guacamole! I did not even try to taste it because - here is a photo of it! Disgusting! So eight cold pastor tacos and an inedible guac was $20! I go to a diff taco truck almost every weekend, and they are pretty universally good(some great!), but ill never come here again.

Cheap, decent tacos and good burritos. The Quesadillas kind of fall apart a bit but are still good to eat half with a fork. The hot sauce has a great flavor, I like things hot so I've never had the mild but I assume its just as good. You can call ahead and order if you're on your way home from work which is nice and its always ready. The only thing is that sometimes they run out of guacamole and they do not offer queso.

Amazing tacos. My favorite and most delicious experiences of tacos has so far consistently been with taco trucks owned and operated by hispanics. When I visited today, the Hispanic worker (idk if he was the owner), made 4 beef tacos for my partner and 4 chorizo tacos for me. The mild and spicy sauces are both amaazziinggg and the limes were so fresh! The diced onions were sweet and the tortillas were the best part!!! There was a convenience store in the same parking lot so I got orange juice and my partner had a Coca Cola. We took it and ate it at goodale park -- great start to the weekend.

After being spoiled by San Francisco's Mexican food offerings, it's been tough to find some good grub for this gringo here in Columbus. Now add the fact that my wife and I are vegetarian. The phrase "vegetarian Mexican" is largely an oxymoron at most eateries, so it's nice to find a place like Junior's that at least offers a veggie option for each of their mains (burritos, tacos, tortas, and quesadillas). Their burrito was decent; average picks of vegetables inside (good onions!) with the option to add avocado, but I like getting black beans in my burrito (not possible at Junior's) and wish there were some more interesting veggies in that burrito. My wife's veggie torta was reportedly good too.Great that Junior's has us vegetarians in mind (thanks!) and I'll be back to try some of the other options in the future.Although their posted hours say they're closed Wednesdays, they were open this Wednesday -- forgot to ask if that's a permanent change tho.

This was my first visit to a taco truck in Columbus and I was exxcciiiiitted! They did not disappoint! I tried two tacos. One of the asada (steak) variety and the other of the lengua (beef tongue) variety. Not only were they awesomely cheap at $1.50 each, they were so yummy. The asada was very flavorful and the lengua, oh myyyy was so tender and fatty just the way I like it. There's something about organ meats that satisfies the taste buds so differently than plain ol meat. Maybe it's the mineraliness that I love. Lengua has a milder touch of iron versus liver.I'm definitely going to be coming back to this joint. Fer sure. Oh and a quick note: Onions and Cilantro as toppings are free, but you have to ask for it.

One bite, everybody knows the rules. 3.8. Tacos was mad dry. White dude was mad rude. Food was mad expensive. Wait was mad long. Do yourself a favor and go down the street a block away to the other food truck that's actually authentic named Los Primos at the Mexican market.

Juniors is overrated. Probably the most over hyped food truck in Columbus. The payoff to the guest is just not worth all the praise.The food is good. I have eaten here at least ten times. Several of my friends, who's opinion on food I respect, have vouched for Junior's. I just don't see it. My wife, who has an excellent Mexican food barometer, agrees with me.Ultimately the food program is just very mediocre. I think the location and name brand recognition have contributed to this false reputation. The quality of the food is just not that great. Steak quesadilla is very underwhelming. Chorizo is cheap and devoid of good flavor. Weak sauce options. Old stale slices of radish and rusty brown lettuce with a dry wedge of lime are unacceptable garnishes.I've found the customer service to be leaning towards unfriendly several times as well.I would recommend trying it. In a vacuum on its own It is good, but they are victims of their own success- a level of hype they just can't reach up to.
