Good thing I paid for extra lettuce on the minced chicken...this is the third time, I won't make this mistake again.
Teriyaki chicken w mushrooms & no cabbage
Wonton soup. Nothing too fancy, just broth and wontons.

General Tso @ Joys Village on the finest foam plate and plastic fork. Food was hot enough to melt the fork. over priced.
Teriyaki Chicken! That's a pretty good serving size I think.

This is a general review as I have been enjoying Joy's Village for a few years now. Everytime I've visited this restaurant, I try something different. I've never had a bad dish. All food is made to order. The staff is very friendly and accommodating when I want to order something that varies from the menu items.

We had not had Joys before but it did not disappoint. The Crab Rangoon was probably one of the best I have ever had. Large, crispy and filled with a delicious creamy crab filling. The Crispy Chicken was just that. Crispy and delicious. Perfectly spicy! The Pork Fried Rice was tasty and filled with big beautiful pieces of roast pork Very good and large portions, this will be our new spot for takeout!

They have great food with fast service! Unlike most carry out chinese restaurants they have table available if you want to eat in. I have never had an issues with order accuracy, or container leakage from them.

Heard great things from Delaware friends. Sad to say I'm not sure what their frame of reference in on Chinese. But this is lame. Greasy potstickers. Fried rice with overwhelming 5-Spices and nothing else. Phoenix and dragon with breaded chicken and very heavy sauce. Yikes. Won't be back. Don't understand the high ratings.

I haven't had Joy's in about five years (after my first visit and not liking the fish I ordered) but decided to give it another try... still only ok. Ordered the Kung Po Chicken and Szechuan Chicken. Flavor of sauce was good, but the chicken in both was kind of slimy. Not sure I'd go back unless I'm desperate for Chinese and don't want to drive down to Silk Road in LC.

First time and last time eating here. The chicken was stringy and we didn't like the taste of it at all. Sort of seemed like it was cooked in old oil. We ended up throwing the majority of the food out, which was a shame, but we just couldn't stomach it.
