Johnnies Villa Pizza

After frequenting this restaurant for close to 10 years we finally had a bad experience. The bad experience was due to the staff & their lack of caring about the customers.We always order the same thing. A large cold pepperoni with extra sauc underneath the cheese. This actually requires them to make a fresh pizza instead of one they have pre-made. We don't like the extra sauce being on top of the cheese & pepperoni. It causes the pepperoni to not crisp up when baked. I had to walk into place our order because their phones rang busy for 30 minutes. I'm not sure if they were just really busy or if there was something wrong with them. While I was in the restaurant only 1 person came in. The young woman took my order & told me it would be 15 minutes. After less than 10 minutes she called our name. Sitting on the counter was a pizza & a container of sauce. I asked why it was on the side. She said that's the way they do it now. I explained I placed my order specifically requesting it on the pizza under the cheese. She asked if I wanted them to fix it. I said yes. She sighed & took it away. About 5 minutes later she returned with just the pizza box. The next part is absolutely, 100% my fault but the pizza was still wrong but I didn't know until we got home. I have supplied a picture of the pizza. I guess they just decided to dump the sauce on top of the pizza which exactly what I didn't want. I tried to call again but the phone was still ringing busy. I would like to say we drive out to Johnstown from Columbus for this pizza.

This local pizzeria is a must try if you stop by Johnstown, OH. I wish they have a few tables or at least somewhere to eat, you can only order take out, but the food is really good. Give it a chance, you won't regret it.

Love the Kickin Chicken Pizza, it's a must try. All their pizza is great. Pizza is always on time.

We ordered takeout on a busy Friday and after a few calls that were "busy," we were worried it would be a long wait. Which is why we were shocked when they said it would only be 20 minutes- and it was! We picked up a hot meal in the exact timeline suggested. The meatballs were delicious and a hit with the whole family, as were the soft and warm chocolate chip cookies. The pizza was very good- crisp yet soft crust with flavor, tasty cheesy, and a dynamic sauce. My only complaint is to fix the grilled chicken salad- it was simply frozen chicken strips (very rubbery) with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and tomatoes. Let's step it up with some more veggies, nutritious lettuce, real chicken, and homemade dressing! Otherwise, this place is a crowd pleaser and no one will be left hungry or disappointed.

All the people moving in from out of town, you're in for a treat! This place has the best pizza, along with its sister shop Eagles Villa Pizza in New Albany. Please try the taco, sausage and mushroom extra cheese, or baked spaghetti with meatballs.

Carry out only, no seating inside so their focus is just making fantastic square cut pizza. This place is one of my favorites, the crust is thin, the sauce is delicious and they always pack it with toppings. We got two smalls, one with ham, bacon, pineapple and the other with pepperoni, mushrooms, onion and banana peppers. They also have a killer baked spaghetti but don't forget the garlic bread with cheese. Great hometown spot with quality good food.

If you're from Johnstown then you know this is a weekly staple in most of our houses. Their pizza is the best around! If you aren't from Johnstown it's a must to try! This is a takeout only establishment. I have friends that have moved out of state and when they come back to visit they have to stop by for Villa! The Taco Pizza is so delicious!

Great pizza! Great service. You won't be disappointed here! Try their smothered meatballs and salad. BBQ Chicken Bacon Pizza is delicious. My favorite.Unanimous Decision in our house on Villa!

Before our last order, Johnnies would have been rated a 5 for us. But after the pizza we just had, lets just say we will never order a pizza from them ever again. It was the worst pizza either of us has ever had. It was tasteless, dry, and the ham was thrown on as an afterthought, not even baked into the pie. Did they even put any sauce on it? I couldn't tell, but it sure didn't taste like it. I happened to have a jar at home, and had to add it on to make the pizza edible. It was THAT bad. The ONLY good thing I can say about it was the toppings were generous, but what good is that if there is no sauce? It probably tasted so dry because of the lack of sauce. We will stick to their baked spaghetti with smothered meatballs next time, which we love.

Classic. Best pep, mushroom, sausage pizza ever You can't beat johnnies. Best pizza since I can't remember in this life.
