Johnnie's Tavern

Been wanting to try this place for a while. We have been told they are the best burgers around. I will say. They didn't disappoint. It's a small place. More seats that I expected. We sat at the bar. As you do at a place like that. To get the full experience. The service was great. The burgers were on point. The drinks were stiff and a good price. Tons of alcohol to choose from. We will definitely go back next time we are craving burgers.

Johnnies tavern is known for their burgers. And yes, they are good. However. There were 30 people in the place (yes I counted) and only 1 woman running around from being bartender to waiting on tables. Bottom line: Johnnie's is a quick and easy place for a good burger and beer to come and be yourself.

The burgers are always great here. $10 gets you a delicious cheeseburger w lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles. Served on a toasted bun. The large order of perfectly crispy fries is enough to share. And they're soft and fluffy inside. The beer is ice cold, served with frosted mugs. They have outside seating now and have updated the inside a bit u set new ownership. No apparent air conditioning so beware if that's a concern. They open the doors for a breeze though. They were busy on a Friday at 5:30. But we were able to get an inside table. Service was fast and friendly.

Regular here! I love their burgers and usually I am not even a red meat eater but for them, I make an exception because it is just that good. There are honestly few burgers in Columbus that compare. Also a big fan of the fried mushrooms! The service is immediate because it is such a small establishment - shout out to Dom, he is the best! This place can get busy but usually during the week you have a good shot at getting a table without issue. Pricing is fair, parking is ample, beer is cold and service is great!

Stopped in for the coney dogs which you can only get on Wednesdays. For 3 bucks you can't beat them!!!!

OK OK OK...I get it! Johnnie's is a restaurant, right? They usually are good at one thing, and then falls off the cliff on another. Johnnie's has a Great Vibe...a Service Personality...and a Solid Food Quality with an Efficient Food Turnaround. They have No cliffs to fall off...except for the close by Marble Cliffs (yes, a joke). Their burger is Not a smash burger. It's an honest-to-goodness thick burger cooked exactly how you order it. Their Onion Rings are to be worshipped, but we ate them anyway.If you're thinking of trying a New Place, with a Seasoned Vibe, that is Clean and definitely Remarkable to Friends, et al, please include Johnnie's on your To Go To List.

Amazing burgers and awesome onion rings. The chicken tenders are delicious and so is the grilled cheese! Love everything here!

All I can say is WOW! Arguably the BEST burger spot you will find in Columbus. The burger is also only $10. Full bar service with more great prices. Got 3 beers for $7. Located just beside the train tracks on Travis. Very clean with exceptional service. Kristen was our server and bartender. She was able to effectively manage and serve the entire place. Can't wait to go back.

Haven't been here for a few years and decided to go back with friends for a burger. Seating was comfortable and our server was nice. If you are looking for a delicious burger definitely give them a try. Burger was $9 and coleslaw was $2.I ordered the burger with pepper jack cheese and, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles and a side of coleslaw. The meal was very satisfying and tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their burger as well!

Food is amazing, service is great and people are friendly! They now have breakfast all day on Sundays!!
