Joe’s Pub & Grill - New Albany

Joe's is a solid choice if you're looking for a good sports bar in Gahanna. It's not too out of the ordinary - just a classic sports bar - but one of my favorite things about Joe's is the sheer number of TV's they have!! We usually come here every year to watch March Madness games because you're able to watch every game on at the same time. Their food is decent for a sports bar; we usually just order the classic pizza while we are having a few drinks and it always comes piping hot and fresh. The bartenders are absolutely awesome and super funny, we've had some great conversations with them over the years. Overall an a-okay choice if you want a good sports bar in the area!PS - one of my fav pizza joints in Gahanna, Brenz Pizza, is right next door, so I highly recommend ordering takeout from Brenz and sitting down at Joe's for a drink while you wait for your pie. :) It's a great combo if you're taking pizza home to the family for the night!

Know what? Joe's is fine. It's just fine. The food is fine, the service is fine (or better), the ambience is fine, the bathrooms are fine, everything's just fine.But not really great. We couldn't find anywhere non-drafty to sit on a cold evening. So we wore our coats. Which was fine.Our waitress, RICKY M it says on the receipt, was friendly and usually available, except at the end of the meal when we wanted to get going. She DID have some cute, cute exchanges with an 8-ish-year-old birthday boy, who seemed to have fallen in love. Better than fine.My wife's Turf and Bird was fine. The steak was just fine, if kind of dry. The chicken was the same. Note that it comes with a salad, so don't order another one, like we did. I got a hot dog. It's $8, and pretty good for a restaurant hot dog - that is, a hot dog not grilled outside or eaten at a baseball game. (Hockey and hot dogs - just NO.)My wife had a Bell's Oberon Eclipse, a much better than average beer. My doc browbeat me into not drinking with the meds he prescribed me, so I had a ginger beer. Which was fine.It's a little noisy, even when it's not busy. Which is fine if that's what you want. I was dismayed by the number of TVs playing the same football game - not even Ohio State. No hockey? We probably could have requested a change of channel on the closest screen, but we, well, didn't.I can't recommend Joe's, and I can't tell you you wouldn't like it. We won't be back of our own choice, but if our friends pick it, we won't try to dissuade them. Which is fine.

Great food. Turf and bird is my go to. Service is usually pretty on point.Can get pretty crowded in the evenings.

First time here: we arrived early Saturday evening to sit at the bar for happy hour, intending to stay for the live music (Free Range Chicken). He played inside since due to rainy weather. The bartender told us normally he would be on the patio.I noticed they offer $4 Skyy vodka cranberry cocktails so that's what I had. You can also choose any of the flavored, which I did because they were out of regular Skyy. The ladies behind the bar were all great. We ordered food. Joe's Sliders are served on Hawaiian rolls with choice of beef, fish or crispy chicken. I chose fish, with a side of broccoli. There were 4 sliders and the fish was fresh & hot. It was a lot of food.After friends arrived, we moved to a table to enjoy the entertainment.I would absolutely return.

Instant drinks from bartenders who care, and a food menu that satisfies! Sports, live music, good food, and good times.

Stopped in for happy hour after a round of golf. This used to be Average Joe's and it really hasn't changed since then. Nice patio. Happy hour specials on sliders when we were there. Service was OK. They have TouchTunes which made me happy.

They have bar food. It's decent but nothing to rave about. I do like the idea of skinny wings, but...the flavor was lacking and the portion size for the price, umm overpriced. The fries were overcooked with the sloppy joe. But the sandwich was delicious, at least that is what my man said.Convenient location for watching games, hopefully the BUCKEYES will be playing soon. If not, I can watch some golf, yes I said golf. My momma would be proud.The best thing we had, were the happy hour beers. 4 Modelo's for $10, nice light easy drinking beers, when you don't want to get hammered.

Wing special is great but the clientele was out of control and made the experience uncomfortable. Table of guys were yelling nonstop the entire time we were there and somehow kept getting served.

My order was not complete. Missing wine. Then the Uber driver said that the restaurant was further than 10 mins away and that he didn't have to deliver. And that he had to sign out b/c the restaurant claims they included the bottle of wine and how did they know my driver didn't steal it. I give 0 to both Joe's Pub & Grill for not checking the order and a -1 to Uber Eats and the driver's excuses.

As soon as the server (I didn't get her name but I have a picture of her on my phone) tried to talk to me and I immediately let her know that I'm deaf. She kept talking and asked me a question but I didn't understand, she gave me an attitude then ignored my friend and me for a good 10-15 minutes on purpose, she kept serving all tables around my table. The manager took over, he didn't apologize or try to make it right. I kept asking him why he allowed one of his server to discriminate someone based on their hearing and ability to talk. He tried to cover her up by saying she didn't but.. the manager served us, not the lady server so yeah she discriminated me for being a deaf person. The lady server also drank beers and drank a few shots on the job as well.
