We've sent both of our children to JCC. Had a great experience, the staff are all very warm and friendly. Having lived in a couple different states, we've had quite a bit of experience at various daycares. By far Jewish Community Center is the best-of-the-best.

I have never connected well with a director more than I have with Sherri! She's always there to greet and put a smile on my face especially on rough mornings! This preschool is by far the best preschool I've ever come across. I have developed close relationships with majority of the staff members at this establishment! This preschool takes the time to make sure each and every child is ready to move forward to their next stepping stone to succeed and to further their education. Thanks JCC New Albany for always going above and beyond!

We have been sending our daughter here since she was 1 and I can't say enough good things about our experience! Over the past 3 years, I have seen my child flourish and grow thanks to the staff at JCCNAP. Each and every staff member, from the director (Jill) to the teachers has treated us like family since the very first day. The environment is warm and I am always so impressed to find that every adult knows my child by name (whether she has had them in class or not!). It was very difficult for me to leave my child anywhere at first but the environment at JCCNAP quickly put me at ease. I looking forward to me soon to be second child starting with them this fall!

This is our second year at the JCC New Albany. Our family was warmly welcomed into the community here. My kids have loved their experiences with the teachers and in the programming. I have seen my kids' growth and preparedness for the following level each year. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is a clean, safe facility. I highly recommend the J!

The JCC New Albany Preschool is one of the highest caliber preschools in NE Columbus; preparing students for successfully entering Kindergarten as well as teaching them empathy and kindness. The curriculum is play-based and the amazing teachers in every classroom adjust lesson plans to fit the needs of the individual student in order to keep them excited about learning. The school is incredibly welcoming to Jewish and Non-Jewish families, alike. Sheri Gittins, the Director of the school, is highly engaged with the students within the classrooms and she is eager to partner with parents to ensure that their children enjoy preschool. I've personally recommended the preschool to family and friends - I can't rate it highly enough for the impact it's had on our family.

I am currently in the process of taking my child out of this school because of the unprofessionalism displayed by Sheri Gittins (Director) and team at the New Albany JCC. If you want to discuss any issues with Sheri and team, they will make up rules on the fly to avoid a direct response. After speaking with some of the teachers directly, we were told she instructs them not to discuss problems the child may have had during the day. So for example, if your child cries a lot in a day, Sheri does not want the parent to know about this. For me as a parent, this is unacceptable since I expect honesty when my child is not under my supervision. This does not make me comfortable leaving my child here. When one of the teachers told me the truth about my child's day, Sheri confronted her and told her she was going to get fired if that happened again. This is not the kind of care I want my child be in.
