Jer-Zee Drive-In

I was Introduced to this wonderful place by someone I used to be close with. This place holds a lot of fond memories of grabbing ice cream after heading to the pool and skating in the parking lot. I love this place for their fast service and good food! I highly recommend this place for people looking to grab a quick bite to eat or for good ice cream!

Always excited to go get my vanilla chocolate dipped cone when we visit Marion, Ohio. The customer service has always been great. Very friendly and helpful when trying to figure out what you want to eat with so many options. Whenever we go there is always a line. Which means the foods good and it's never been a long wait. My husband loves the shredded chicken sandwich. I tried the hot dog with chili and to me it tasted like sloppy joes on top. No problem just not what I was expecting. Besides I was already full from eating my chocolate dipped vanilla cone anyways. The atmosphere makes me feel like we almost step back in time to when our grandparents were young. If you're from outta town and want something different check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Her-Zee is a Marion staple. They have been in our little town for decades because of their attention to detail and service. They have delicious sandwiches and over the top sundaes. My personal favorite is the TopsyTurvy. It is like a banana split in a bowl with all of the fixings. Their turtle sundaes are phenomenal, also. They have generous servings for great prices. They go above and beyond what is expected to make sure your nostalgic ice cream needs are met. This is an outside walk-up shop that has ample seating for small and large groups. Enjoy!

Best ice cream in Marion. It's much better than a corporate chain ice cream place. The menu has a large variety. It also accepts credit cards. They are only open for the spring and summer. I had a pineapple Dole Whip in a cup. It's about $3 for the medium size. That is a pretty good price for this. It's good they offer this in place of regular ice cream. This was soothing on such a hot day. As for the rest of the menu, they have typical items like cones. They also have hot food. It used to accept only cash. Last time they had a credit card reader. They have joined the modern times.

Looking for ice cream in Marion? The place to go when the weather is nice is Jer-Zee! They have sundaes, cones, clippers, food and a ton more choices. This little walk up establishment is a great spot for a cool treat on a warm day, or cold as they start their season mid-February. This is my favorite local ice cream shop by far!

I grew up in Marion, and have fond memories of this place. When I am in town, I try to stop here for the Snickers Parfait, which is my favorite item on their large menu. Yesterday I was driving north and was craving it so I drove completely out of my way for just that. The line was long since it was a beautiful warm and sunny day, but I waited patiently for my turn at the window. For $3.69 I was handed the delicious caramel and nut parfait with a mini Snickers on top. Tip: It is cash only. Lucky I had just enough on me or it would have been a wasted trip.

Ok so I'm in town for business, decided to give this place a go and felt as if I was served cat food. I got a "shredded" chicken sandwich. What I got? You either serve it to cats, senior citizen who can't eat solids, or pigs. Nothing about the chicken was shredded. More like a purée or pate. Absolutely disgusting. So if blended chicken served like a mayo on a bun is your thing, go for it. Idk what you folks are used to eating but I got the shredded chicken after seeing reviews. I got about two bites in before I tossed it. You country bumpkins like puréed chicken?! Didn't taste a solid chunk of "shredded" chicken in there. They most likely cook it quick and blend it instead of slow cooking the chicken and shredding it. Service was great and quick! I just wished the food matched the service. Should've went with the dog..

Perfect. Always great food, ice cream, and wonderful service! They appreciate cash payments!
