The majority of our food was good. My friend and I both got shredded hashbrowns and they were undercooked and tasted raw. But her veggie omelette and my breakfast sandwich were very tasty. The Fresh Squeezed OJ was amazing. Our server was very kind and was able to answer a couple questions we had. The vibe was very nice and especially being so close to campus. I would come back.

This was my first time at Jack & Benny's. I loved the food and service! I will return and highly recommend.I went with my daughter and her boyfriend. The hardest part of my experience was trying to decide from all of the appetizing menu choices. I settled on the Gut Buster. You will not be disappointed. I ordered my eggs scrambled. The delicious gravy held it all together: eggs, sausage, cheese, ham, hash browns, and a potato pancake - feels like I'm missing something. Yeah, it comes with two pieces of toast, too.When you arrive you write your name down on the list. The owner/manager was very nice. She was attentive and kept our coffee mugs full. Our food came out quickly, this was on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 PM. The wait was not long at all, maybe 10 minutes. Parking is on the street. I found some spots along Hudson. They've been in business for 25 years. I have lived in Columbus for 30 years, and somehow it took me this long to find them. Go today!

Nice little diner to have breakfast. Eggs were served quickly and as ordered. Bacon was perfectly crisp! Cinnamon roll was not as full of cinnamon and sugar as I prefer but It was soft and sweet. Service was quick. Parking is on the street. We will be back!

I absolutely love it here. The staff is always so friendly and the building itself is incredibly homey. I always make sure to ask if there are specials with the pancakes because they are superb. along with pancakes, I always enjoy an omelette with crispy has browns. This is the place to go when you are craving an all American breakfast, it will definitely hit the spot every time. This is my go to hangover spot and it never fails to satisfy me and send me straight into a food coma.

Great food.A great breakfast but far from home so we go only occasionally .Had corned beef hash and eggs. Wife had eggs and bacon

The go-to diner experience in North Columbus! If you've never gone, it can be a little confusing on how to check in. When you walk in, you write your name on the list instead of talking with a host or server. The place is very small so you must arrive early.I ordered the buckeye breakfast special and a pancake on the side. It was more than enough food! Everything came out perfectly cooked.The only criticism is the service; when I was handed my napping wrapped utensils, the servers hands were soaking wet so it make the napping completely unusable and a little off putting. Also, one server took my order as the other was so busy, and there was confusion on their part as to if my order was placed or not and for the right table. However, I will come back again soon!

What a classic Breakfast Diner, the vintage Columbus memorabilia, a step back in time. This place is a museum with classic food. The food came out quick and it was very delicious. The waitress was very nice and pleasant. She gave us so much background on the pictures and people in the pictures. I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes and home fries with coffee. My fiancée ordered Eggs over easy, white toast, & bacon. The service was great and the food was awesome. You will enjoy this breakfast spot, it's yummy!!

The food is not outstanding, but great diner to go to if you're in the campus area and want some good breakfast food.

Very good.old school diner and good service.I got a toast,bacon,eggs and home friends that came out hot.The older lady served me plenty of coffee which is a.very good thing.This is a good.warm up for Understory up the street.We seem to be losing these old school diners in America

Genuinely one of the best diner experiences I've had at The Ohio State University. Great lighting!
