This black garlic tonkotsu was the beautifully warm hug that I so rightfully deserved on this chilly depressing day. The flavors hit just right and the noodles were perfectly al dente, just the way I like them. I'm not the biggest fan of fried gyoza so I don't know why I even tried but the chicken karaage was nicely breaded and crispy. I'll return for the ramen alone!

I won't lie, I was compelled to try this place mostly by the name (and secondly because the pictures of the food looked good). When you walk in, they have three screens to the right to place your order or you can also order at the counter to pay with cash and get 5% off. I went with the screens since I wasn't sure what I wanted and this gave me time to browse and take my time. I ended up going with the spicy tonkotsu ramen and a lychee drink and tried some of the friend's pork dumplings and gyozas. I was definitely overwhelmed with their drink options (there must have been over 30) since they all sounded fruity and delicious. We got our main food about 15-20 minutes after ordering and it came out at the perfect temperate--it wasn't cold but I also wasn't burning my tongue or blowing on my food. The flavor of the ramen broth was good. It was creamy but a bit too salty. It could've been a bit spicier but I was grateful that I could taste all the flavors since it wasn't that spicy. The pork slices were one of my favorite parts. Usually I'm not a big fan since it can taste funny or have too many fatty parts. These pieces were perfectly cooked and sliced to perfection. I did order my ramen with corn to introduce a sweet element. The noodles were cooked perfect and a tad chewy as expected. The egg was good. The drink did have a good lychee taste and had some jelly balls but I didn't realize the foam would be a bit salty. The cups are super cute and durable (I ended up using it as my water bottle for the weekend). One thing that did inconvenience me was that about 3-5 minutes into going in, the fire alarm sounded and didn't stop for a good 5-7 minutes. We didn't have to evacuate since the source was in the adjacent/top building units and it was cold outside so we didn't move. I found the prices to be standard. There's a parking lot around the corner and it's near Ohio State if you're interested in a tour.

Their menu cover Pho, Ramen, Dim Sum, Bubble Tea, and more. Bringing a friend along is definitely a wise decision for an undecisive person like me.Tried a couple appetizers, a bowl of Ramen and the bubble tea. My highlight would have to be the Chicken Karaage and the OL' School Hong Kong BBQ Pork Bun.

I don't want to leave a bad review of this place so I'll leave an honest one. The Pros:It's affordable! The prices are super fair and nothing seems overpriced It's clean. The place is well maintained and very clean. Fast serviceThe pork bun was a nice size and had great flavor. The pillowy dough was very delicious! The shrimp dumplings were incredible and flavorful and didn't taste frozen, even if they were, you couldn't tell. There are a lot of good drink choices! The cons:My soup dumplings tasted good but there was no soup in any of the dumplings that I ordered. I came to this restaurant just for the soup dumplings because Columbus is lacking in restaurants that serve these delicious dumplings, so I was disappointed to find no soup, lol. I was not served a spoon with them either but since there was no soup, no spoon was needed.Service was cold by the lady. The portions of dumplings were small and the dumplings themselves were smallI will return to try the actual soups later. The bowls that the other patrons were eating all looked delicious! I might have just had a bad batch of dumplings today but won't return for the soup dumplings. Helen still holds the candle there!

Service was fast and the ramen was incredible. The dumplings tasted frozen and were okay but I think I would skip them in the future. It was a bit small and cold in the dining area but I think the ramen is worth it. :)

Came by on a weekday early afternoon. Not busy at all. A few folks dining in.You order on the screen then it prints out a receipt. They'll call your number when the food is ready. Since they weren't busy I was kind of watching them cook the food out of curiosity. I liked seeing that they made everything fresh.I had ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen at regular spice, pork and crab dumplings, and kaarage chicken. The broth of the ramen tasted good. I should've gone spicier as regular spice was not spicy enough. I LOVED the kaarage. It has a really nice seasoning and the pieces were large. The dumplings were decent to me. But I'm a huge fan of Din Tai Fung. It's hard not to compare.Overall, it's great to see options like this. And prices are good for what you're getting. I'll come back for their bubble tea!**Parking garage at the back. It's not free but it's the most convenient option. Or opt for street parking.

Incredible food that looked and tasted amazing. I love that you just order on the computers and take a number and seat yourself! They don't ask for tip, but I left one anyway bc of the convenience and quick services. Super chill spot with WiFi and Starbucks around the corner. Loved everything about this place from the name to my last sip of Thai tea boba.

I'm so happy this opened near campus! It's super new, but the service and ambience was great. We were greeted right when we walked in. There are a few kiosks, but we were asked to order at the register, where the cashier was super patient and sweet while we looked through the menu. We realized later that we had come super close to closing time and asked if it'd be better if we got to-go, but the cashier was super friendly and said we were welcome to stay and take our time. The curry bomb ramen was so good! Full of flavor, so excited to try more ramen. The pho was pretty bland, but the chicken broth pho is marketed as very light. The table had hoisin sauce, chili oil, and sriracha to add. I do wish they had a more substantive chili oil, with flakes instead of pure oil, but I had plenty of leftovers to bring home to my own garlic chili oil. Wouldn't recommend the chicken broth pho personally, but I don't want to rule out the beef without trying. Each table also has plastic cups and a water pitcher, which was super convenient. And the tea!!! I ordered the peachy blossom green tea with nata jelly and it was so good!! Not super syrupy or sweet at 50% sugar, and the jelly was really great quality without excess syrup too. The lime and pulp (not sure if it was the peach or nata) was added a lot too. It was less than $6 for this size and quality, which I think beats both nearby KFT and Cuppa Cha. I think this is my new go-to for campus boba.Really looking forward to trying more here, highly recommend!

This great little noodle shop is located on the corner of High Street and Lane. They even have a parking garage located in the building behind them. They have fantastic ramen, pho, dim sum, and boba teas.If you're on campus, visit campus or in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this place. The service is quick and the flavors at this place are amazing. If you have never tried an Ol' School Hong Kong BBQ Pork Bun, this place serves up a MUST TRY BBQ Bun.......You'll thank me later.
