The Hungry Buffalo was a delicious, nicer Sports Bar with a fun vibe, extremely clean, indoor & outdoor space. We stopped here for a late lunch after hiking Hocking Hills State Park! We ordered the Bison Queso Dip with Chips as an appetizer- it was so good, we wanted more. I ordered the Louisiana Shrimp Basket and had the garlic Parmesan dipping sauce. The amount of shrimp was way more than you expected so it was nice to know the portion sizes weren't shorted. I had enough for leftovers.The service was really good, efficient, our server / bartender (I'm sorry I forgot your name!) was really nice.I'd def go back and recommend to anyone!

We were greeted quickly and sat right away. Our server was friendly and efficient. We ordered Filet bites and the Monte Cristo sandwich and both were 10/10. That sandwich is AMAZING. Great atmosphere. Will return.

Had a decent experience here. Went in a Wednesday evening . Had decent food and good service. I heard a lot of mixed reviews that this place was hit or miss. This time it was a hit. Again food is decent and our service was good.

Service was good. Staff was friendly and very welcoming of my furry friend. They even had dog biscuits for him and his own bowl of water! The food though, oh the food. What a let down. We were a party of 6. Waited over 45 minutes for our food. My pork chop was overcooked and only warm, not freshly cooked. Some of our shrimp was cold. The baked potatoes were dry(both the plain and loaded potatoes) and were very chewy, like they had been made ages ago and sat under a heating lamp for a long time, I had to cover my loaded potatoes in sour cream to make it swallowable. Everything seemed bland and needed a lot of salt. If you want drinks and a pet friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you, but if you want good food, go elsewhere.

We stopped in for lunch with a group of 7. Service was excellent, browns game was on, good choice of music playing. Prices were decent. My wife got soup and salad and she really enjoyed it. The blackberry vinaigrette was really good. I got the 100% Buffalo burger. It was good, but the patty was thinner than I was expecting. I originally ordered it medium but changed it to medium well bc I thought the patty would be a bit thicker. I should have stuck with medium bc it came out well and with any wild game that dries the meat out. Not complaining just giving a heads up in case you are expecting a thick patty.

I never get only 1 star but I could give 0, I would have! Seriously, RUN don't walk away from this restaurant. We were told only a 30 minute wait, we waited over an hour. Then our table didn't even have enough seats, we had to put the men at the bar. We ordered immediately upon sitting down and we waited for over an hour with no food. 3 of our people got small salads which tasted like the lettuce was washed with dirty water. Salad wasn't even touched but it wasn't offered to take off our bill. The service and the food were terrible, the ambiance was cute but couldn't save it!

today I ate at the hungry buffalo restaurant on January 14 2025 and my waiter was robin Jenkins. are food was great. are waiter was very respectful and made sure we had everything we needed and keep checking in on us to make sure are food was great and if we had all everything needed. so I wood give this place a 10-20 stars if I could cause you never find a great waiter at Just any restauran. thanks Jessie pennington

Service... okay, good enough for middle of dayFood...meh. Don't get the chicken tenders. They are dry and even though you order sauce you can't taste it. Side salad was good. Kids' Mac n cheese was pretty good. Cheese curds came with no sauce like most places but they were okay. Beer was yummy. I recommend the yam beer.Overall...tourist trap that cost too much for the quality. Only came to watch football and eat chicken. Instead ate dry, bland chicken chunks and watched Ricky Bobby.

Left campus today before the football game started. Stopped here to watch the buckeyes play. Bison chili - which is some of the best chili I've ever had. We tried the firecrackers which were tasty. My wife really enjoyed her chicken wings. This is a great place to eat and watch sports.
