We love Hugs! I can't say enough positive things about the teachers and facilities. The person who wrote the first review must have confused this center with some other place. We have never had anything but positive experiences. The teachers are like family and not only do they provide the children with an amazing head start for primary school but you can also tell they LOVE the children. I have never seen the children unsupervised even for a moment. I personally know many former students of Hugs & Hearts - who are now in their 20's - and they recognize the positive impact that Pam and her teachers have had on their lives. If you are looking for a child care center that provides a warm, loving and nurturing environment for your precious children then this is the place. If you would like your child to be well prepared and have an advantage as they begin primary school and beyond then Hugs is where it's at. If you would like your children to create bonds that they will keep for years to come then you must consider Hugs & Hearts!

It's a nice facility and that's about it. The kids start off watching tv first thing in the morning at drop off and in the evening kids are always watching a dvd when I pick up my child. The snacks used to be healthy but I noticed lately that they give kids cookies, pretzels with ranch dressing on the side, and etc. I was shocked that children were given Oreos for a morning snack. I saw this when I dropped off my daughter late morning in the summer. That's normally not a time that most parents drop their children off. For the amount that they charge for tuition, it's not worth the money.

We started this school year, fall 2014. My 3 year old was not drinking anything for 3 days straight on 90 degree days and no one told me, I was trying to figure out why he was crying when I would get him. He was so thirsty he wasn't even going to the bathroom. Also with my 3 year old, I felt like many of the teachers did not know him or show attentiveness to the children outside when playing. I also figured out out he was outside for 2 hours straight in the afternoon during the 80 to 90 degree weather. Too long for a 3 year old. My 5 year old also had trouble with the wrap around kindergarten teacher. She had trouble having a rapport with the kids. Made them do, not age appropriate work for beginning kindergarteners. Also was not willing to differentiate or work with kids on modified work. She also was not professional in discussing my child, she made him feel inferior and he was acting out at home with behaviors such as crying before he would go the night before. I was very disappointed and sad for him. Lastly, all staff did not read our children's information that we filled out at the beginning, this is important when getting to know children.
